Next week (Oct. 30) the planet MARS will retrograde until January 12/23, although it remains in GEMINI (hence Gemini Xi Jing Ping’s  recent sabre-rattling over Taiwan). During this time, men can feel less potent, might be hesitant lovers. At the same time, women are tempted to criticize men, esp. their sexual prowess — mainly attacking their ego. (So, now to mid-January is NOT a good period to begin a significant love affair, for this “male hesitancy” and female criticism will accompany it forever . Good in very rare cases.)

This Friday, the planet JUPITER, herald of great good fortune, enters PISCES (by retrograde) until December 20, 2022. These seven weeks give Pisces a second chance to grab the brass ring in career, or to pursue (or tie up from last year’s pursuit) a grand deal, promotion, adventure, gather the courage to break up with someone, whatever.

ARIES, the major recipient of Jupiter’s luck this year, will have to wait until Christmas or 2023 for it to soar again.

The planet SATURN turns direct in motion Sunday (actually 9:07 pm last Saturday, Oct. 22, Pacific Time) after weeks of retrograding. This hints that ARIES’ wishes, denied so many months, begin to manifest, to come true. Wherever AQUARIUS sits in your chart, months of delays now dissolve. That’s in career/ambitions for TAURUS, legal and social/love and media concerns for GEMINI, sexual and financial goals for CANCER, relationships and agreements (and relocation) for LEO. For VIRGO, work and health “hold backs” should dissolve; for LIBRA, romantic and creative delays should end; for SCORPIO, domestic matters security and property actions finally get a go-ahead. For SAGITTARIUS, communications finally clear, answers finally come. For CAPRICORN, delays end in earnings, buying/selling, sex and learning. All that romantic and beauty stuff pours in Tues./Wed. You learn a secret, or join a discussion, that enhances your home life. Go slowly Tuesday night to dawn Wed. (PDT — noon EDT). Tackle chores Thurs./Fri. Don’t buy furniture or household items Thursday morning. Overall, you’ll succeed if you bypass ethics, social rituals, lawyers and scholars — just lean into the task at hand. Saturday brings an exciting meeting — romance by Sunday? In general be diplomatic Sat.

 

LEO:  July 23-Aug. 22

Sunday stars a month of domestic focus, Leo. Home, family, garden, mom nature, security, etc.      You remain hopeful about a relationship (perhaps with a whole group) or an intellectual, international, cultural or philosophical project. It will “revive” next month (late Nov.). — But, if hunting for new love, read the item on Mars in the PREAMBLE. Your family will be sweet-tempered.

Saturday’s for work — dive in, success promised.

 

VIRGO:  Aug. 23-Sept. 22

Sunday starts 4 weeks of light, swift chores — errands, visits, calls, paperwork, etc. Others will welcome you with affection. Higher-ups at work are about to relax their demands, so work will be a bit easier until mid-January. But your ambition scene might be complicated by mysteries and puzzling pathways. What has been a heavy workload “ends” this Friday, to bring instead almost two months (to Dec. 20) of romantic/creative luck, expansion, and cheerfulness. (For you gamblers, this could be an uplifting 2 months.) You are still interested in a sexual lure (w/a coworker?) but this is about to turn “away,” to “return” in January.

A month of needed rest starts today, Sunday, Sage. Lie low, find a quiet spot to contemplate and plan, up your charitable or spiritual involvements, and deal with institutions, gov’t, and head office. This is a time when you might join a political party, or work in the background for your favourite candidate or idea. Relationships remain volatile (since late last August) but the “violence factor” dials down, which is good. (Unless a former enemy returns! And the flip side: a former powerful love might return.) Now to mid-January not a good time to find a new lover or mate. (Read PREAMBLE about Mars.) Friday starts 3 + weeks of good fortune in domestic matters. You might find a better rental, or catch a great property purchase.

Sun./Monday emphasizes your hopes, joie de vivre, social delights and popularity — quietly, as you’re also in a “deep rest” period. That rest period grows deeper Tues./Wed. Rest, and protect your health. Paradoxically, these 2 days might end with a loving, successful communication between you and someone feisty, nervous and brave. (Could be love!) Careful Tuesday night/Wednesday morning: work, driving, tools can frustrate.

CAPRICORN:  Dec. 22-January 19

A month of pressure ends Sunday, Cap, to be replaced by a month of flirtations, social joys, popularity, plans and optimism for the future, and general good times. Avoid significant actions Thursday dawn (PDT) and Friday suppertime. Saturday starts a weekend of prominence, pride, energy and charisma. Start something, esp. something creative, romantic or involving children

 

.AQUARIUS:  Jan. 20-Feb. 18

Expect “performance pressures” for the next 4 weeks, Aquarius. Your career, prestige relations, and worldly status are/will be in focus. You might have been hotly attracted, romantically, to someone since August. This relationship either goes mildly “quiet” (a healthy reaction) now to mid-January, or it explodes from pent-up desire and burns white-hot. In this latter case, though, watch out for cruelty — don’t attack someone’s sexual ego. Higher-ups favour you this week — they’ll be even more on your side next week into Nov.

AFTERAMBLE:

LAST WEEK, I CALLED HITLER AN ARIES. A sharp-eyed reader, L.R., reminded me that Hitler’s Sun, if the birth records are correct, lies in 0 deg 48’ Taurus. Carelli calls this the 30th degree of Aries. The symbol: “A Virago” (dominant, violent woman) “leading a horse entirely covered with iron plate.” (Sounds like a war horse — or war tank.) But the first degree of Taurus describes Adolf even more accurately: “…his destiny has fierce struggles in store…(but) in struggles he will thrive…great will power…seems born to have things his own way despite the war furiously waged against him on all sides. He (might) be endowed with magic powers.” (Carelli says this is Hitler’s birth degree.) So I was wrong. But on my behalf, a limp excuse: his name, Adolf, is an Aries name. (A or R = Aries.)

This reader BTW, sometimes sends me charts and text from some other astrologer and writes, “this is how real astrologers see it — and no one agrees with you!” Yes, but the only trouble is, my predictions come true. If these great scholarly astrologers disagree with my predictions, and my predictions come true, then ipso, hence and a lotta therefores, their predictions must be consistently wrong.

You know how I’m always saying 16 is the number of destruction? (For example, couples that are going to be divorced often move into a “16” address before they split. E.g., “88” North Road [8+8] or in full swing, 13 Elm St. = 1+3+5+3+4 = 16. However, a reader long ago — 30, 25 years? — wrote me to dispute my interpretation of “16.” In India she said, it was considered a number of learning, and many schools had a “16” address. Ok, I said, but I never checked it out. Yesterday, by chance I happened to see Harvard University’s “birth” (founding) year: 1636 = a 16. However, I doubt this number loses all its destructive “seed” — Harvard, often considered the world’s premier university, might sink deeper and deeper into irrelevance. It has already begun this journey by embracing “wokism” with unconditional fervour. As I’ve predicted since the 1980’s, universities are declining and will do so for 200 more years. They’re like the boars whose tusks grow so long they curl back and destroy the brain. Harvard’s the pig, wokism is the tusks.
