START NOTHING: 5:36 pm Mon. to 0:18 am Tues., 9:27 pm Wed. To 3:55 am Thurs. and 6:10 am to 6:21 am Sat.
PREAMBLE:
Next week (Oct. 30) the planet MARS will retrograde until January 12/23, although it remains in GEMINI (hence Gemini Xi Jing Ping’s recent sabre-rattling over Taiwan). During this time, men can feel less potent, might be hesitant lovers. At the same time, women are tempted to criticize men, esp. their sexual prowess — mainly attacking their ego. (So, now to mid-January is NOT a good period to begin a significant love affair, for this “male hesitancy” and female criticism will accompany it forever . Good in very rare cases.)
***
This Friday, the planet JUPITER, herald of great good fortune, enters PISCES (by retrograde) until December 20, 2022. These seven weeks give Pisces a second chance to grab the brass ring in career, or to pursue (or tie up from last year’s pursuit) a grand deal, promotion, adventure, gather the courage to break up with someone, whatever.
ARIES, the major recipient of Jupiter’s luck this year, will have to wait until Christmas or 2023 for it to soar again.
***
The planet SATURN turns direct in motion Sunday (actually 9:07 pm last Saturday, Oct. 22, Pacific Time) after weeks of retrograding. This hints that ARIES’ wishes, denied so many months, begin to manifest, to come true. Wherever AQUARIUS sits in your chart, months of delays now dissolve. That’s in career/ambitions for TAURUS, legal and social/love and media concerns for GEMINI, sexual and financial goals for CANCER, relationships and agreements (and relocation) for LEO. For VIRGO, work and health “hold backs” should dissolve; for LIBRA, romantic and creative delays should end; for SCORPIO, domestic matters security and property actions finally get a go-ahead. For SAGITTARIUS, communications finally clear, answers finally come. For CAPRICORN, delays end in earnings, buying/selling, sex and learning. For Aquarius, this heralds an end to puzzling and hard-to-pin-down “background problems” (e.g., gossip). And finally for PISCES, this ends months of delay in dealing with gov’t, head office or large institutions.
All signs: this “end of delay” influence lasts from late Oct. to early March, 2023. So accomplish all you can in these 5 months ahead, in the areas listed above for your Sun sign. (You can use your rising sign, too if you know it.)
***
Next March (’23) is significant: Pluto changes signs after a decade and a half; Saturn changes signs after 2 years, and Mars changes, after 7 months in Gemini. This month, March ’23, is the pivot point, the flex point, or you might say the very start of, a new financial/power, medical/sexual, and technological zeitgeist.

WEEKLY FORECASTS:
ARIES: March 21-April 19
Mysteries, financial secrets (hidden?) lust, surgery, lifestyle changes, research, and commitments that lead to profit or growth — these fill the 4 weeks ahead, Aries. Yes, you want to break free, but be patient: the doors will open on their own by late November.
Sunday/Monday bring relationships, good ones — tho’ it might end on a note of separation or domestic difficulty. Still, some things are solved that had been “uncertain” before. Tackle chores Tues./Wed. Eat, dress sensibly. Caution Tuesday night, Wednesday morning when $ and friends seem “ornery.” A mellow, wise mood steals over you Thurs./Fri. — okay, but steer away from career, management, gov’t and institutions both days. Saturday’s for ambition, prestige relations — mostly good!
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
Sunday starts a month of exciting meetings, relationships, opportunities (some requiring relocation) fresh horizons — and potential discord, so be diplomatic. Continue to chase $ — a lucky earnings trend accompanies you until next March. However, one or two money sources might prove slightly elusive now to mid-January (’23). Another feels affection for you, but won’t reveal it until Saturday onward into Nov.
Tackle chores Sun./Mon. Eat sensibly. You’ll accomplish. Do nothing unethical Monday suppertime., eve. That relationship trend grows stronger Tues./Wed. A great conclusion, esp. in a money opportunity/agreement, but tread lightly late Tuesday, early morning Wed. Mysteries, financial secrets, hidden lust, surgery, lifestyle change — these occupy you Thurs./Fri. No agreement Thursday morning or Friday suppertime, so hunt earlier, later. Saturday’s mellow, wise, you seek gentle love, perhaps travel.
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
A month of work begins Sunday, Gemini. Read the Preamble above for a hint about patience. Now to Christmas, your good luck shines in career and worldly status efforts, esp. on the management side, with gov’t or head office. Workmates are pleasant, affectionate until mid-November. A co-worker affair could spark. (Read the PREAMBLE “Mars” item to judge this potential affair’s long-term success quotient.) Expect to work hard for 4 weeks. You’re still radiating sexual energy and optimism. (And your dreams, tho’ they’re on hold, will come crashing true March onward.)
Sunday/Monday are for beauty, pleasure, creativity and romance. Lighten up Monday suppertime. Tackle chores Tues./Wed. — good results, but use caution predawn Wed. (And a little bit Tuesday night). Relationships either light up your life, or bring squabbles, confrontations Thurs./Fri. Be diplomatic, flexible. Don’t push for intimacy Thursday morning, nor believe anyone Friday eve. Saturday’s sexy, power-oriented, and holds possibility of profit in investments, research and commitment. (Flows fortunately into Sunday.)
CANCER: June 21-July 22
A month of pleasure, games, beauty, creative surges and risky “adventures” — and Romance — begins Sunday. This first week, if single, is filled with impressions, feelings, affection, but it likely won’t find expression until next week onward. That’s okay! Continue to avoid dark places, belligerent people (to late March ’23). Make one last contact or message in a gov’t or admin situation.
Sunday/Monday draw you to home, kids, garden, nature, security. All’s good, but be alert Monday suppertime (PDT — 8 pm EDT) for a hint of alienation. All that romantic and beauty stuff pours in Tues./Wed. You learn a secret, or join a discussion, that enhances your home life. Go slowly Tuesday night to dawn Wed. (PDT — noon EDT). Tackle chores Thurs./Fri. Don’t buy furniture or household items Thursday morning. Overall, you’ll succeed if you bypass ethics, social rituals, lawyers and scholars — just lean into the task at hand. Saturday brings an exciting meeting — romance by Sunday? In general be diplomatic Sat.
LEO: July 23-Aug. 22
Sunday stars a month of domestic focus, Leo. Home, family, garden, mom nature, security, etc. You remain hopeful about a relationship (perhaps with a whole group) or an intellectual, international, cultural or philosophical project. It will “revive” next month (late Nov.). — But, if hunting for new love, read the item on Mars in the PREAMBLE. Your family will be sweet-tempered.
Sunday/Monday emphasize communications, paperwork, errands. A short family trip, maybe. The emphasis on home and family intensifies Tues./Wed. — a good interval, if you avoid late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Maybe good news about a social situation Wed. (A good eve/night for lovemaking.) Romance roars,Thurs./Fri., and creative juices flow.— but avoid work communications Thursday, and financial or sexual pursuits Friday. Saturday’s for work — dive in, success promised.
VIRGO: Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Sunday starts 4 weeks of light, swift chores — errands, visits, calls, paperwork, etc. Others will welcome you with affection. Higher-ups at work are about to relax their demands, so work will be a bit easier until mid-January. But your ambition scene might be complicated by mysteries and puzzling pathways. (Hint: ownership matters.) Remain morally upright and you won’t fail. (Deep temptations hover around you all 2022 and a bit of next year — sexual, financial, power lures — not necessarily “bad.”)
Chase money Sun./Mon. Casual intimacy also available. All is fairly balanced. Tuesday/Wednesday bring what these weeks are all about: errands, communications, paperwork, etc. Plunge into these. Only avoid late Tuesday and Wednesday morning, when obstacles rise up, esp. in intellectual, travel and romantic matters. Head for home Thurs./Fri. Realize love and $ don’t mix Thursday, and that home might be a bit friction-prone Friday eve and night. Saturday starts a weekend of romance, creative output, play, pleasure.
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Sunday ushers in a month of quite fortunate money pursuits, shopping, selling, learning (low level, as in memorizing) and casual sexual embrace. Your marriage ruler retrogrades next week into mid-January, so this isn’t the best few months (Oct. – Jan.) to seek new love, mating. An old flame might appear. If you’re happily married, partnerships and associations will grow complicated now to January — be patient. Even by December, this love picture will improve immensely, but not quite tip you over the top until January/February.
Your energy is tops Sunday/Monday: use your charisma to gain co-operation, to open doors. Chase money, buy/sell, etc. Tues./Wed. — a good interval that ends well (perhaps with a good agreement). But avoid Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, when glitches can snag your progress.Errands, calls, paperwork, travel fill Thurs./Fri. — goes well, but avoid Thursday pre-dawn and Friday suppertime, when communications are misunderstood, and (Fri.) doubts interfere with work. Saturday’s for home, family — starts a domestic weekend — a happy one!
SCORPIO: Oct. 23-Nov. 21
You’re about to reach a yearly peak in energy, clout, timing, effectiveness and charisma, Scorpio. Use it, launch new projects, gain allies, see and be seen, woo an unpredictable Taurus (if you’re strong-hearted). What has been a heavy workload “ends” this Friday, to bring instead almost two months (to Dec. 20) of romantic/creative luck, expansion, and cheerfulness. (For you gamblers, this could be an uplifting 2 months.) You are still interested in a sexual lure (w/a coworker?) but this is about to turn “away,” to “return” in January.
Lie low, rest, ponder, plan and seek advice, Sun./Mon. All’s well. Your energy and pizzazz return handsomely Tues./Wed. Re-read first 2 sentences above. Plunge in, charge ahead! But sidestep problems that arise late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. (Someone rebels a bit agains your “assumption of authority.”) Chase $ Thurs./Fri., shop, sell. (Wait until Nov./Dec. to ask for a pay raise.) Saturday is for motion — travel, see friends, write, call, etc. A weekend trip favoured.
SAGITTARIUS: Nov. 22-Dec. 21
A month of needed rest starts today, Sunday, Sage. Lie low, find a quiet spot to contemplate and plan, up your charitable or spiritual involvements, and deal with institutions, gov’t, and head office. This is a time when you might join a political party, or work in the background for your favourite candidate or idea. Relationships remain volatile (since late last August) but the “violence factor” dials down, which is good. (Unless a former enemy returns! And the flip side: a former powerful love might return.) Now to mid-January not a good time to find a new lover or mate. (Read PREAMBLE about Mars.) Friday starts 3 + weeks of good fortune in domestic matters. You might find a better rental, or catch a great property purchase.
Sun./Monday emphasizes your hopes, joie de vivre, social delights and popularity — quietly, as you’re also in a “deep rest” period. That rest period grows deeper Tues./Wed. Rest, and protect your health. Paradoxically, these 2 days might end with a loving, successful communication between you and someone feisty, nervous and brave. (Could be love!) Careful Tuesday night/Wednesday morning: work, driving, tools can frustrate.
CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-January 19
A month of pressure ends Sunday, Cap, to be replaced by a month of flirtations, social joys, popularity, plans and optimism for the future, and general good times. Your property interests are still favoured, but probably won’t show any great luck until late November onward. Even then, a final decision, purchase, sale, whatever, might not arrive until mid-January onward. But the luck is strong and solid — just delayed. Work remains intense until March, but slows down now into January, so you can breathe a little easier.
Be ambitious Sunday/Monday, take a small step upward. The main accent for the weeks ahead, enjoyment, socializing, celebration, arises strongly Tues./Wed. Enjoy! But realize some (money) things will not go well Tuesday night to dawn Wed. Seek solitude Thurs./Fri. Lie low, rest, ponder and plan, liaise with gov’t and admin types. Avoid significant actions Thursday dawn (PDT) and Friday suppertime. Saturday starts a weekend of prominence, pride, energy and charisma. Start something, esp. something creative, romantic or involving children
.AQUARIUS: Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Expect “performance pressures” for the next 4 weeks, Aquarius. Your career, prestige relations, and worldly status are/will be in focus. You might have been hotly attracted, romantically, to someone since August. This relationship either goes mildly “quiet” (a healthy reaction) now to mid-January, or it explodes from pent-up desire and burns white-hot. In this latter case, though, watch out for cruelty — don’t attack someone’s sexual ego. Higher-ups favour you this week — they’ll be even more on your side next week into Nov.
Intellectual, far travel, legal, media influences, and profound ideas, visit you Sun./Mon. Those “performance pressures” build Tues./Wed., and end with good results by Wednesday pm. But don’t be distracted by family, nor take a gloomy attitude, late Tuesday night to dawn Wed. Optimism, social delights, popularity, flirtations arrive Thurs./Fri. Caution Thursday to dawn, and Friday suppertime/eve. Saturday starts a weekend of weariness and quietude. Find a good place, rest, sleep, research, contemplate and plan.
PISCES: Feb. 19-March 20
Your mind opens to new vistas, new thoughts and realizations (even new love) over the weeks ahead, Pisces. International, travel, legal, educational, cultural and media influences will be on your mind — taking one or more of these and wrapping it into a project might be a good idea. You now (to mid-December) have to courage to run away from a bad marriage, to break away from an unfair employer etc. Your career and general prestige look good! Friction continues in the home, but grows less now to January.
Life’s mysteries rise to the surface Sun./Mon. Your intuition will be “right on.” Sex, finances, power — these hover around you as opportunities. You go right into that “higher mind” zone (described above, “new vistas….cultural and media influences”) Tues./Wed. This interval ends well, but skirt Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, when discomfort arises. Love possible! Be ambitious Thurs./Fri. Take care Thursday morning (pre-dawn PDT) when potent changes can occur in finances, and affect your hopes. Otherwise, dive in, accomplish, impress higher-ups.
Saturday (and the whole weekend) brings popularity, social joys, flirtations, optimism and happiness.
THE END.
AFTERAMBLE:
LAST WEEK, I CALLED HITLER AN ARIES. A sharp-eyed reader, L.R., reminded me that Hitler’s Sun, if the birth records are correct, lies in 0 deg 48’ Taurus. Carelli calls this the 30th degree of Aries. The symbol: “A Virago” (dominant, violent woman) “leading a horse entirely covered with iron plate.” (Sounds like a war horse — or war tank.) But the first degree of Taurus describes Adolf even more accurately: “…his destiny has fierce struggles in store…(but) in struggles he will thrive…great will power…seems born to have things his own way despite the war furiously waged against him on all sides. He (might) be endowed with magic powers.” (Carelli says this is Hitler’s birth degree.) So I was wrong. But on my behalf, a limp excuse: his name, Adolf, is an Aries name. (A or R = Aries.)
This reader BTW, sometimes sends me charts and text from some other astrologer and writes, “this is how real astrologers see it — and no one agrees with you!” Yes, but the only trouble is, my predictions come true. If these great scholarly astrologers disagree with my predictions, and my predictions come true, then ipso, hence and a lotta therefores, their predictions must be consistently wrong.

You know how I’m always saying 16 is the number of destruction? (For example, couples that are going to be divorced often move into a “16” address before they split. E.g., “88” North Road [8+8] or in full swing, 13 Elm St. = 1+3+5+3+4 = 16. However, a reader long ago — 30, 25 years? — wrote me to dispute my interpretation of “16.” In India she said, it was considered a number of learning, and many schools had a “16” address. Ok, I said, but I never checked it out. Yesterday, by chance I happened to see Harvard University’s “birth” (founding) year: 1636 = a 16. However, I doubt this number loses all its destructive “seed” — Harvard, often considered the world’s premier university, might sink deeper and deeper into irrelevance. It has already begun this journey by embracing “wokism” with unconditional fervour. As I’ve predicted since the 1980’s, universities are declining and will do so for 200 more years. They’re like the boars whose tusks grow so long they curl back and destroy the brain. Harvard’s the pig, wokism is the tusks.

Hi Tim,
Here’s an infamous 16 address: The Hotel Chelsea, at 222 W. 23rd St in New York. Where numerous artists, musicians and their muses lived and died, including Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungeon. Who could forget Leonard Cohen’s Chelsea Hotel, his account of his time spent there with Janis Joplin – and that he would later regret having dishonored her by identifying her as the person he was writing about.
And let’s not forget the White House, 1600 Pennsylvania St. Notice every President who enters the WH with a full head of hair emerges 4 years later with white hair, looking much older.
Cheers,
Tim
