AFTERAMBLE:
Setting the record straight:
1) I predicted Trump would not seek revenge on the criminal democratic operatives who tried to deep-six his run for president. The jury’s out on this one — so far, who can distinguish between retribution and justice? Is it justice or retribution to execute a convicted murderer?
2) the Oilers DID NOT win the Stanley Cup, as I predicted based on their names. I knew this prediction was wrong a day after I published it, when I discovered the Panthers had beaten the Oilers throughout their playing history.
3) Pierre P would be Prime Minister of Canada. Like the Oilers prediction, I said it was not a prediction I trusted. (As I explained, Pierre had the general good luck [and he did increase his party’s seats by I think 10 to 20 %]. But Carney picked an election day that was the worst day possible for Pierre, with moon and sun in Taurus, P.P.’s most vulnerable spot.
I think I made a few correct predictions, too — I just can’t remember them now.
