A fair number of people have tried to phone me. Typically I am extremely bad at answering phone calls. This morning I tried to answer two from September 25.
So the best way to reach me is by email: suningem@gmail.com.

I’m thinking of turning this blog into a shared activity. I know many people have tried to leave comments on the blog and have been frustrated by the complex and arcane gateways to allow you to register and make a comment. I’m a computer idiot so I have no clue how to fix this or let you guys address the blog.
So here’s my solution: anyone can make any comment about astrology or ask any question — but email it to me at suningem@gmail.com., and I will put it on the blog every Thursday. Some I will answer, but some I’ll leave up to the whole audience of readers.

SUN SIGNS:
THIS IS QUITE A PRODUCTIVE AND SOOTHING WEEK. BUT — IT CAN END WITH A ROMANTIC PUZZLE OR PROBLEM. EYES OPEN!
VENUS TURNED RETRO OCT. 3, AND WILL REMAIN SO UNTIL NOV. 13. ANY LOVE AFFAIRS STARTED NOW TO MID-NOVEMBER, WILL LIKELY FAIL. BUT A LOVE REVIVED FROM THE PAST CAN BLOSSOM BEAUTIFULLY. Whatever Venus rules in your own chart will tend to be delayed until mid November.
MERCURY ALSO RETROGRADES, FROM OCT. 24 TO NOV. 13. This can also bring old flames and former projects.
Notice how Venus and Mercury both turn direct the very same day – November 13. This could presage some powerful action last half of November.
HOWEVER, notice that Jupiter and the lunar south node are conjunct in November, which warns us all that being over-optimistic, or “going big” can be a trap. For example, Leo might take out too big a mortgage on a splendid house. Then in two years, Leo loses this job and can’t make the payments and loses everything in foreclosure. He would have been much wiser to choose a more modest house and a lower mortgage.
For many of us, making no advancement nor bid nor extra effort and NOT chasing a rainbow in November, is the wisest choice.

WEEK AHEAD:
ARIES, you are in a strong relationship phase. This week you start with romance, dig into your work mid week, and end with relationships.
TAURUS, you start with communications and a bit of travel experience, romantic feelings mid week, and end with a Friday/Saturday of work.
GEMINI, look for love, be creative, teach children. You start socially, withdraw for rest mid-week, then blossom with charisma Friday/Saturday.
CANCER, you start Sunday with confidence and charisma, but soon, Sunday night to Tuesday, you focus more on money and possessions. Midweek brings short trips and communications. Be home or be domestic somewhere Friday/Saturday.
LEO, you are in a restless, communicative phase. After a Sunday rest, you grow confident and active through Tuesday. Chase money mid week. Friday/Saturday intensifies the travel and communication theme.
VIRGO, chase money all week. Sunday morning might be social, but you should retreat this night and the next two days — rest up. Midweek, you shine with confidence. Shop, acquire, seek $ Fri./Sat.
LIBRA, read above about Venus retrograde. Your personality, charisma and ability to act are at a yearly high, but it may be hard to determine what action to take. Early week is social. Rest mid week. And you really shine Friday/Saturday.
SCORPIO, be thoughtful Sunday daytime, then yield to ambition this night through Tuesday. Mid week is for socializing and happy wishes. Retreat Friday/Saturday — rest, contemplate.
SAGITTARIUS, you are in a good social time. A good time to join a group. A wish might come true. Early week is philosophical. Be ambitious and work hard midweek. Sweet social stuff occur Friday/Saturday.
CAPRICORN, you are in a strong ambitious phase. However, with Venus retro, your best career and business opportunities will somehow link strongly to the past. E.g., a former lucrative client might return. Early week for mysteries and investments. Midweek is philosophical and gently loving. Double your ambition Friday/Saturday.
AQUARIUS, October is your month of far travel, legal affairs, publishing, profound ideas, and gentle love. Relationships fill early week. Midweek brings secrets and investment opportunities. Friday/Saturday doubly emphasize that travel, legal, and love influence.
PISCES, the whole world is mysterious this month. Secrets, sexual experiences, taxes, investments, and surgery are emphasized. Boring work early week, relationships mid week, and all those mysteries and secrets Friday/Saturday.

AFTERWORDS:
From Dec. 23, 2229 onward (for 3,000 + years, but especially for the first 250 years, 2229 to about 2475 AD) “philosopher kings” will rule. These rulers will tend to be either celibate or disastrously unlucky in love. Men of military age will form tight-knit groups bent on vengeance and killing – sort of future types of Iran’s RGC. These men will perform multiple rapes, especially on young women and eccentric clients. Surgeons will tend to be a powerful force in society, but a secretive one.
This partially describes the next mega era, which starts in 2229. The mega era we’re in right now started with the Egyptians and will end in about 200 years. (The small, single era we’re in now started around the industrial revolution in the 1700s.)
I’m drawing a blank when trying to relate the 2229 AD chart with technology and Space exploration.
The chart does support lots of travel, especially water travel, perhaps space travel, but it seems to be localized. Does that mean just travel on earth, or perhaps limited to our solar system?
Humans will take huge steps forward in psychic and spiritual abilities, which will probably outpace tech technological developments. From this, only goodness and wisdom should come – and some discipline in communications.
Social groups will be formed intuitively and, whether admitted or not, on a strongly sexual basis. You might call this new mega era “the change,” because the chart indicates major change in people’s physiology and sexuality.
We will pursue the dream of the stars, star travel, but might find that we get there more efficiently through psychic travel than actual physical travel. But I don’t know that this is right.
Legally, this future mega era leaves a lot to be desired. There could well be very bad laws, widespread injustice, and the wrong intellectual attitude in lawyers, writers, professors, universities, etc. — much like our present courts filled with judges who are partisan and biased clowns, and our universities, gardens for idiots.
Whereas our present era is obsessed with technology, the mega era ahead will be obsessed with control, bureaucracy, and practical needs. The concept of property ownership might be abandoned. However, the same chart also indicates somehow that many residences will burn, or be places of destruction or a deep alteration —not renovations. Maybe this simply refers to the installation of smaller and smaller nuclear reactors, until ultimately there might be one in the basement of every home.

We are only 1/5 of the way through our present era. It began November 1983 and will end in December 2229. That last date will begin both a new era, and a new mega era governing the next few thousands of years. I should go back to my chart and be more specific.
In the same vein, our present era is the last of our own mega era, which began about 3000 years ago and will end in 2229. Again, hopefully I’ll check my charts if I can find them, to give you more precise dates.
Often the last stage of any cycle is one of decadence, sophistication, and rotting. This is natural, plants do this every year. So our era of 250 years does display this, but doesn’t every era? I think what might be rotting or decadent in our era is moral and political definition, and human rights.
But our era is also astoundingly technologically accomplished, and every decade brings something new, some development or discovery that turns the wheel of human change, one more notch.
There is also a possible acceleration aspect to this: it took a few thousand years to go from the wheel to horse-drawn chariots, then a couple thousand more years to develop fuel-driven vehicles and machines. But in the last 250 years (in the era that ended November 1983) we progressed from coal-fired steam engines to electric, self-driving cars, from wooden teeth to implants. From horseback and postal walker mail delivery, we went to the dawn of the Internet and email – and the decline of physical mail. Man on the Moon. All that.
Now in our present era, which is still young – we only started in 1983, approximately start of the present Dow bull run (it actually started around August 1980, and is still in effect — though a mild decline looks imminent this autumn/winter) — in our present era , still stretching 200 years ahead, we have already made astounding progress, technologically, and medically. Much of this has come from the U.S. Britain was master of the industrial revolution, but the US is and will be the master of the intelligence revolution. Medically, massive gains have been made in cancer cures, medicine, surgery, and biological studies. Your average billionaire can throw a rocket up into the sky.
There is some law in technology that the process of discovery and development will speed up, perhaps infinitely. This does happen – the industrial revolution era (1700’s to 1983) advanced us technologically, but we are already far beyond 1983. We should not be too proud, though. The biggest advancements actually occurred in the last era, before 1983. The mobile phone and the Internet web were invented before 1983. We landed a man on the moon. We discovered nuclear power, and its consequences. We have not done anything as groundbreaking since 1983, with the new possible/probable exception of Superintelligence.
Our achievements since 1983 do not equal what the prior industrial era achieved. But we are only 50 years into a 250 year era, and our present era chart is very technologically oriented, even more so than the industrial revolution chart. So we’re just getting started – and the recent furor over Superintelligence probably marks one of the biggest technological leaps so far. If things do speed up even past Superintelligence, what happens then?

When I was watching the film from inside the fly Dubai airplane hijacking, I learned a lesson about courage. There were two guys, obviously from economy, drawing open the curtain to first class and then to the cockpit where all the fighting was going on. They hesitated, and then both of them entered first class, step-by-step.
I believe they were in fear of their lives, probably in something approaching terror, and yet they made themselves go forward toward the danger – albeit not like NASCAR racers. To go into danger when you are terrified of it – that’s real courage.
Every time I’ve done something brave, I think it’s always been while I was in a mild physical trance for instance, when I save the boy from drowning in Lake Ontario, as I ran over the beach of sharp gravel, I didn’t feel a thing. Or when I worked at the kids zoo at 16, and a bear cub escaped from the bear pet and ran right up a nearby Spruce tree, maybe 70 feet/25 m. When I went up after him, the broken, sharp branches and rough bark didn’t bother me at all, it was as if I floated past them. Then I grabbed the bear by the back of the neck and pulled him down to the ground. The whole way, I didn’t feel even a scratch.
I’ve done a few things like this, but I don’t think it’s courage. It’s something else. I don’t know if that’s strange. My brother always called me queer. It would be interesting to read accounts from say World War II if they reveal what the heroes of the war actually felt at the time. Were they scared and running toward the enemy anyway? Or were they in a kind of mild, I’m thinking trance?

There is an Italian proverb about a soccer ball, when kicked, no matter how high, it must come down. It’s a comment on quick or unearned fame.
But I what the fuck think we would profit more from kicking than doing nothing. Perhaps we could measure the instant to instant velocity change in say, a backyard rocket, and record these changes, especially as it reached the Zenith of its flight. Maybe we can do this. There must be a mathematical formula for escape and return — involving gravity, but perhaps other things as well: energy blossoms, black holes.

Synthetic anger. I saw the reports of a black Arab Palestinian woman I think in New York City, who was fiercely antisemitic – a Jew hater who tried to organize other Jew haters. The twist: she WAS Jewish — and WHITE — and came from a wealthy family who live in Israel. I can understand the wealthy part – affluent elites have much more time and energy to devote to politics, radical or conservative. But at a time when antisemitism is at one of its historical peaks, as it was during the Polish pograms (I don’t know how to spell this, and Apple’s Spellcheck refuses to even consider that the Poles slaughtered Jews indiscriminately. The lesson is if you want to cover up old sins, just take the word for them right out of the dictionary. Genocide? Well it’s not in the dictionary, so it couldn’t have occurred. Orgs like Wikipedia practice this bullshit all the time.) — then Hitler, and now the fascists in Europe and America. They say the rise in antisemitism is mostly amongst the young, which makes sense, because they would not have a strong memory or proximity to Hitler’s concentration camps.
Why then, why now when the ugly disease of Jew hatred is upon us again, why does this woman present herself as a black Palestinian Jew hater and then actively campaign against her own people? What is her motive? Was she raped by her father and this is the way she gets vengeance? Perhaps.
I don’t get motives entirely. But I suspect that there’s a certain kind of person who is unfulfilled emotionally and senses no easy way out, no easy way to find a loving spouse and a life of success. If you combine this with enough money to provide long hours of irresponsibility, the person will probably seek responsibility, but might do it in a idealistic way that requires violence or violent points of view such as the DSA endorse.
So her anger is synthetic – it has absolutely no basis in events or environment. She has appropriated the anger of a Palestinian – perhaps to compensate for incest or an overbearing parent or worse – but this appropriation might or might not be misplaced. The thing is the anger is under the control of the angry person. In this case. she uses it, perhaps as a weapon against her parents who are Jewish. To her the best way to wound them is to become a Palestinian and encourage violence against her parents’ entire nation.
I suspect of the, I don’t know, 10,000 Kiefer wearing, Palestinian flag waving dolts in New York City demonstrations, of this 10,000 I suspect 8000 are carriers of synthetic anger. The other 2000 are simply sympathetic souls who have been taught in high school and college certain axioms, called “truths” (without proofs) which makes their soft young minds a perfect landing spot for a bias which grows thicker and thicker. The thrill and excitement of the crowd and a sense of adventure pull this 2000 along.

Dodge Ram trucks for years ran an advertising platform emphasizing the rugged manliness, the tough guy image of a ram owner.
Then suddenly, tonight, Saturday night, I saw an ad for ram trucks – well, one was a pick up and I’m not sure what the other one was: is there a RAM SUV? Anyway, here’s the thing: both vehicles were dressed in feminine colours. I think one was pink and one was baby blue. Weird. The most macho of companies chooses to represent itself with the most feminine dressing. Why don’t they just wave a limp wrist?
Maybe they are just trying to catch the woke train. Budweiser did that a few years ago and lost every beer drinker in America. Nike did that — went woke — several years ago also, and their stock has fallen 80% since.

With global warming, Canada will become a paradise. American psychic Edgar Casey said, about 75 years ago, that Edmonton would become the capital of North America. I don’t know about that either way. But I suspect he might’ve been seeing/sensing the oil sands boom that was physically run out of Edmonton, but corporately run out of Calgary. Casey also said California would fall into the ocean. The future might reveal more about these predictions.
I do think Casey was sensing one thing, though: whether slowly or dramatically, Americans will begin to move north. At present, at least a third of the US regularly achieves 100° plus in the summer. This can’t go on forever, especially if it gets hotter. You can’t live in hundred degree heat – some areas were rising to 110, even more. These are Death Valley temperatures. America can only survive such seasons with constant air-conditioning. This costs money and consumes resources. In the end, it will be easier to move north than to run 200 million air conditioners.
Many animals are moving north, some right up to the Beaufort Sea. Evidently beavers have transformed the tundra into a series of lakes, which in turn are starting to melt the permafrost. Biologists are now finding primitive fish in these lakes. I’m not sure if moose have followed these lakes or not. But if they do, that will attract wolves, cougar, and perhaps rodents to live off the summer berries and the droppings of larger animals. Wolves, cougars and other predators might not even need the moose to move in. Evidently beavers, who grow to 40 to over 100 pounds each (depending on age — beavers never stop growing — are delicious.
Amazing. I never suspected beavers would do this.
