All the romantic planets are travelling through Aquarius, now, your sector of fun and happiness. Here’s my advice to Mr. Trump regarding Greenland. Offer every Greenlander $ 400,000. For a family of 3 kids and an unmarriable uncle, that’s 2.4 million $. But

Do you ever wonder why humans make facial contact a part of love, usually a preliminary part? Eskimos are reputed to kiss by rubbing noses, and much of civilization touches lips and tongues.
I have not seen it in any magazine or book – and admittedly, I’m a superficial reader, even in astrology – but I believe it is a worldwide fact that there are very strong musk glands just under and behind the ears. I learned this when I had a fairly brief affair with a Cree woman.
Musk: deep, smoky and mysterious.

Astrologers are wrong to ignore or give 2nd class status to the solar birth chart. My daughter, her partner and her son moved out last November, on the 20th. On November 18, the lunar south node was in the degree and minute (of arc) of the solar 4th cusp. The fourth rules the home, and the south node often rules an unfortunate turn of destiny. But it is never more than one can handle, and in many cases hardly even noticed, a mere ruffle in Mother Nature’s canopy. I mention this to show the Solar chart’s potential precision, the one quality it is reputed to lack. To “hit” the exact 4th cusp, degree and minute, of my solar chart, within 2 days of a destiny-altering action, equals 5 days of “range,” or “orb” divided by 18 years = 1 chance in 548 that this occurrence was random. Is that right? I’m no statistician, mathematician, historian, lawyer, doctor, financial advisor, et al.
In my case, the south node was travelling unusually fast, which can indicate a light karmic sentence. The nodes spend an average of 18 days in one degree. (360 degrees in the zodiac.) This time, they spent only 5 days in my Sun’s birth degree.
This is just a recent example.
I have to admit the rising chart is more complete, at least from an outsider’s view (e.g., the astrologer’s view) in that it does contain the emerging individual (the Sun) and places the native’s planets, skills, love capacity, energy and drives, loyalties and — everything! — in the context of an environment. Though they might not stay that way, the parents are described in the birth chart; so, for example, is bullying in the third grade. Etc. But the rising birth chart is so complex it can be hard to read. I like simple things. The solar chart is more simple. One sees the very thing, the person, the existence across the table, instead of playing peek-a-boo between the bushes and all the other environmental junk.
Yet I have to admit, because the rising chart is based on the horizon the moment we are born, that it is a more complete and true to circumstances than the solar. And the solar chart, despite its own earthiness, its “this is life” quality, is more symbolic than the rising one. Yet it’s simpler to read, and in astrology, simple yields more, and better, predictions/forecasts.
With clients, I read the solar chart first, then the rising chart, and the local rising. Then all the other stuff.

A seven is often announced. – Anything from an introduction, to a public announcement. Seven is a new start – kind of essential after destruction.

Bet you didn’t expect this: airlines are reporting better profits due to the new weight loss drugs… Evidently they’re having to spend less on fuel because the average weight of passengers has declined! I think this is one of the best good news stories I’ve heard all year. (All 25 days of it as I write this).

Our culture has many “heroic” pathways. Gauquelin’s work shows that those who operate in so-called “weak” (cadent) houses and succeed, attain “heroic” status — e.g., sports champions are often not born in the 1st house (energy, clout, ease of success) but the 12th (weariness). Famous scientists are born in the 9th (or weak, cadent) house, not in the “house of success,” the 10th. But ordinary scientists are born in the 10th, and weekend baseball players are born in the 1st, not 12th.
