WEEKLY FORECAST:
ARIES: March 21-April 19
Work, work and more work, for the few weeks ahead, Aries. Protect your health, eat and dress sensibly, and follow safety precautions. September is usually a good time to buy tools or machinery, and/or to hire employees or seek employment. However, I don’t see a lot of weight, a lot of luck good or bad in this whole work and tools area. Good luck in the home and real estate (for the next 10 months) and very active people involvements, romantic, partnership, and acquaintance level friendships are all evolving and growing in your life, and take up a lot of the energy that would otherwise go into work. That’s OK! One of your main drives/interests for the next 3+ weeks centres on relationships, partnerships, fresh horizons and new opportunities, overcoming opposition, and relocation themes. Be diplomatic, don’t start fights. Sunday stumbles along nicely enough with good, profound thoughts — Monday also, until we approach suppertime (PDT) when a new and different obstacle, or one very like last year’s, raises its dour head. Be ambitious Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. Higher-ups are observing your progress, which favours you quite a lot Tuesday, but this night of the next morning, expect surprises and perhaps computers snafus. The rest of Wednesday goes well. Social joys, popularity, optimism and flirtations enter Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Don’t expect a lot here, as you are in a general work phase. You might face a dilemma: do you chase an opportunity or a person, or give your attention and effort to home and family. Friday supports love. Saturday needs care and alertness.
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
This week holds a lot of challenges, Taurus. But it also offers some good things. The general accent lies on romance, teaching children, creative and speculative urges, sports/games, beauty and pleasure. This week holds a lot of challenges, Taurus. But it also offers some good things. The general accent lies on romance, teaching children, creative and speculative urges, sports/games, beauty and pleasure. Work will be hard and maybe intense. Your home will be sweet and supportive, and an old unfulfilled wish returns (now to mid February). Sunday through suppertime Monday (PDT) is sexual, secretive and financial. Sunday and early Monday are fine, but later Monday hits an obstacle woven from reality. It’s a bad day for dental work or any surgery involving knees or bones. Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday brings profound ideas, far travel, law, higher learning, philosophy, media and gentle love. Monday night is deceptive, Tuesday flows well, but this night and Wednesday morning is disruptive. The rest of Wednesday goes well; it might bring a friendly partner or a lucky opportunity. Be ambitious Thursday to Saturday morning. You might find that communications or short travel or a vehicle gives you trouble Thursday, but machines work quite well Friday. Saturday is unpredictable — stay alert.
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
The main accent lies on home, family, mother nature and security, Gemini. This fits in well with your present good luck in monetary affairs and possessions. Usually, September would be a good month to buy or rent real estate. However at present — until July 2026 — home, real estate and family matters can contain some very subtle traps or not so subtle delays. You might also be involved in a puzzling situation with a family member who seems, to you, to be acting irrationally. On a secondary (or less important) note, friends treat you affectionately and your romantic sensors are turned to high alert for the next few weeks. Sunday/Monday brings relationships, opportunities and opposition, relocation themes and public appearances. All goes well, but at the very end — Monday supper time (PDT) a barrier rises up: it might be sexual or financial. In one sense it’s an old problem which you thought was solved but it now comes back until next February. Might involve authorities or a boss. Monday supper time to pre-dawn Thursday brings secrets and investigations, major finances, sexual desire, medical and lifestyle choices. This is a time of commitment and consequence — and making a commitment Tuesday daytime might prove beneficial, but difficulties lurk in the background. Wednesday is reliable but a bit boring. Thursday morning to Saturday morning, you see things from a balanced, wise point of view. Dreams of far travel or legal, scholastic situations occur. Love is possible Friday. Saturday p.m., take care — disruption is in the air.
CANCER: June 21-July 22
The general accent lies on travel and errands, communications and paperwork, Cancer. They should go quite well. Remember, you are in an expansive, fortunate and cheerful phase until next July. Your home might be contentious, especially if you try to bring your work home. Be gentle with children, and don’t fertilize plants before September 23. Your income picture looks fine for the next three weeks. Tackle chores Sunday to suppertime Monday. All goes well here, except at the very end (Mon. pm) when a former obstacle might arise. Could be connected to a partnership or a legal/moral matter. Relationships, opportunities and opposition, relocation themes and public dealings arise Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. Things flow well Tuesday daytime, but this night confronts you with unpredictable obstacles. Still, especially Wednesday, there’s a chance of forming a beautiful alliance. Thursday morning to Saturday morning squirms with secrets and intimate attractions and financial dangers as well as financial opportunities. Thursday is like a boxing match, but Friday daytime holds a potential treasure chest. Saturday is affectionate and loving but disjointed and nervous. (Maybe that’s love!)
LEO: July 23-Aug. 22
The general accent lies on earned money, possessions, casual sex and rote learning, Leo. Not the most exciting time, but generally a mellow one. Uranus, your planet of marriage, has just moved into your sign of friendly romance and wishes coming true, for a seven year stay. That’s very good news for Leo singles, but don’t leap too soon — July 2026 through July 2027 will be a huge romantic year — wait for it, my friend. You are attractive now, and will be for three weeks of “good hair days.” Paperwork and/or communications might have a legal leaning, or could aim you toward long distance travel, publishing, love or learning, the same three weeks. Sunday to Monday supper time (PDT) offers romance, creativity, pleasure and beauty — but at the very end a “no” to sexual intimacy, or a hard path to it. Tackle chores Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. Eat, dress sensibly. Your efforts might be wrongly aimed Monday night, succeed Tuesday daytime, and hit turbulence late Tuesday night into pre-dawn Wednesday. In all this there is an opportunity, but it might be hard to see and grasp. Relationships fill Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Careful Thursday, when one of your secrets might be revealed, or management types try to squelch your communications or travel. Friday daytime heels relationships and might trigger a moment of passion. Careful Saturday — relationships are fractious.
VIRGO: Aug. 23-Sept. 22
You’re still at a peak of energy, charisma and effectiveness, Virgo. This is the time to make your actions count. Set a reasonable but ambitious goal and go after it. Get out, see and be seen. Some of your actions now might lead to a major wish coming true (maybe in the area of homeownership, gardening or commodities). A friend or a group might be involved. The government and head office treat you favourably for the next three weeks. During the same period, money seems to flow swiftly to you – bank it or pay debts, try to hold back on spending. Sunday to suppertime Monday (PDT) steers you toward home and family, garden and nature. This is a good interval with good potential accomplishment, but might end with unexpected resistance by a partner or competitor. Romance, creative and speculative urges, sports/games, pleasure and beauty and teaching kids — these fill Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. Your lock is very jumbled here: Monday night contains misdirection, Tuesday daytime aids success, Tuesday night is disruptive, Wednesday daytime holds an opportunity and this night plods quietly along. Tackle chores Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Thursday is a bit dicey but Friday succeeds — especially with money. Be diplomatic and careful in all relationships Saturday.
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Your general trend is one of recuperation, Libra. Lie low, rest, liaise with government or head office (but be careful here, hidden pitfalls until next July) contemplate your life thus far and form plans for the future. Don’t volunteer for extra work or duties — you’ll have enough of them descending on you. Despite your weariness, your social life looks fine. Relationships will tend to bend to your will and assertiveness. Again, your career and worldly standing are blessed for 10 more months. Sunday to Monday supper time nudges you into communications, short trips and paperwork. All is good, but be aware of a quiet obstacle or deception Monday night. Head for home, at least in your heart, Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. This is a good interval for deep rest, especially Tuesday. Careful Tuesday night and pray on Wednesday (PDT) when unexpected disruptions, even arguments, can occur. An argument from Tuesday/Wednesday could be carried over to Thursday night and involve bigger things. That said, Thursday morning to Saturday morning will bring you beauty, creativity and sweet romantic feelings — they won’t get too far Thursday, but will find a satisfying answer or mood Friday daytime. Tackle chores Saturday, but follow safety rules and drive carefully.
SCORPIO: Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Life is social, happy, optimistic, flirty — and a wish might come true, Scorpio! If you are trying for a baby now through the next seven years, you may need some medical assistance — which is unusual, for you are usually the most fertile sign of the zodiac. For the same seven years, ideas and insights and revelations are like the flowers of the field, you can pick them, many of them, anytime. Until September 22, avoid sketchy venues and belligerent people. Bosses favour you now to late September — it’s a good time to butter out the boss and ask for a raise or promotion. Sunday to suppertime Monday (PDT) features income, buying and selling, possessions, rote learning and casual sex. All is good and productive here until the end, when a romantic or creative notion gets smacked by reality. Short trips, paperwork and communications and casual friends enter Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. This interval is fairly jumbled. Bad luck or misdirection Monday night, good success Tuesday day but disruption and friction Tuesday night to pre-dawn Wednesday, then a calm (or boring) daytime Wednesday. Head for home Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Hug the kids, hoe the garden, repair the fence, etc. Thursday night might hold an argument, and Friday day daytime offer success. Saturday starts a romantic weekend, but on a rocky footing…
SAGITTARIUS: Nov. 22-Dec. 21
The general trend emphasizes your ambitions, talents, career/ business, prestige relations, reputation and worldly standing, Sage. But your mind might be elsewhere, as you are dreaming and wishing about romance or a creative or pleasure project most of September. In addition, others treat you well now, as you could experience affection with a scholar, lawyer, traveller or media type, also through most of September. But Tuesday starts a whirlwind of communications and possible travel relating to your career. A partnership or association might boost your prospects. Uranus in your marriage sign for the next seven years might hint that you will marry an Aquarian, and/or that communications/travel can bring you compatible prospects. Your energy and charisma are super Sunday to suppertime Monday (PDT). Get out, do things, gather allies, start projects – but back away as this interval ends — some obstacle, perhaps involving your home or family, gives a “no.” Chase money, buy/sell, make love to a sometime lover, read and learn Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday. This interval is very jumbled: bad luck Monday night good progress Tuesday daytime, disruption Tuesday night and very early Wednesday, then calm. Thursday morning to Saturday morning brings errands, communications and paperwork. Go slow, be alert, as disruptive conditions prevail.
CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-Jan. 20
You are in a phase of enlightenment, Cap. You will see connections and reasons you never thought of before. This can propel you forward in legal, learning, publishing, travel and love involvements. Many opportunities face you for the 10 months ahead, including bright new relationships. These, too, can be tied to this mood of “enlightenment.” Sex and intimacy will be sweet and available for the next three weeks. Same time, your investments should do well, and good new ones might appear. Same time again, bosses and VIPs will be critical and impatient — be diplomatic, and work hard (or work smart). Lie low, rest, contemplate and plan Sunday to suppertime Monday. All flows well until the very end when you may meet an obstacle emerging from either your family or your communication (in)abilities. Your energy returns Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday: good. Others pay attention and are willing to pitch in, so usually this would be a good time to start projects. Tuesday daytime is pretty good (until mid afternoon PDT) but this night creates disruption and from disruption might come argument — which might be delayed, or the source of a big argument Thursday. Still, there is opportunity here — the very one who might argue with you is the one who can “save” you or bring you good fortune. Money, buy/sell, intimacy with a sometime lover and/or rote learning — these are slated Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Good progress here Friday, but take care with disruptions and accident potential Saturday.
AQUARIUS: Jan. 21-Feb. 18
Life is full of information, Aquarius. The information we don’t know we often call a secret. These weeks it is your duty to yourself to dive into everything unknown, whether it’s a relationship puzzle, or new investing techniques. Dig deep for treasure. Your intuition and subconscious will be eager to help in your search. Mainly, you will be dealing with sexual intimacy/temptations, major finances, medical and lifestyle decisions, and commitment (which leads to consequences). Make sure you act ethically and morally, because the next three weeks can spark legal or reputational trouble — strictly avoid lawsuits and the lawyers who love them. For virtually the same three weeks, other people will treat you with affection and grace. So, there’s a path here for you to fortunate relationships, another to research and financial goals, and a third to temptation and loss. In all these, be alert to long range consequences. Realize you may not be thinking wisely — examine your own motives and subtle clues. If, all in all, you are uncertain what to do, it’s far better to do nothing. Sunday to Monday supper time brings happiness — a bit of popularity, a wee wish coming true, optimism and flirting buoy your heart. But retreat to find a Quiet Pl., Monday night to pre-dawn Thursday (PDT). There are so many unpredictable aspects flying around during this interval that you would probably benefit by being away from them all. Rest, contemplate, and plan. Seek advice. Your energy and charisma return handsomely Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Thursday might hold a conflict, perhaps an ethical dilemma at work, but daytime Friday gives a green light to many things — plunge in! Be careful with money and showing off Saturday — minor disruptions.
PISCES: Feb. 19-March 20
Be diplomatic and eager to join, Pisces. Realize others hold all the cards for the next three weeks. So you might encounter some opposition, but these weeks will also be filled with opportunity through relationships, with fresh horizons and relocation themes, public appearances, contracts and agreements… Mars in your financial and sexual house can make you a little impetuous in these areas — look before you leap, envision all consequences before you commit. Workmates remain pleasant and helpful, also for three weeks ahead. After some delays, communications can take place between you and an attractive person, or with someone who holds the keys to an opportunity for you. Remember, no matter what happens, your romantic and creative sides are blessed now through next June. Be ambitious Sunday to Monday supper time. All goes well, except at the end you might encounter a socially based obstacle. Ah, well. (This obstacle, if a big one, will end by next February — but it will also turn you in the direction of opportunity.) Monday supper time to pre-dawn Thursday (PDT) lifts your heart with optimism, popularity, social delights, entertainment and possible flirtations. Good and bad luck are jumbled together during this interval. In a general sense Tuesday daytime is good, but night time is difficult and Wednesday day time is quiet but smooth. Get out, see people — if single, you might meet a good prospect in a group. Retreat to a quiet place Thursday morning to Saturday morning. Rest, think and plan. Liaise with government or management people Friday, not Thursday. Your energy and charisma zoom back Saturday, but wait until this night or next Sunday to tackle anything important, including new projects.
THE END.
AFTERAMBLE:
Israel needs to be very careful over the 18 years ahead. An enemy will try to dominate it, and will use nuclear power — and might have much success. Because this threat is coming from Aquarius, this enemy might be a (secretive) group. The dangers will peak in approximately 2037-39.

Long ago, in the early 1980s, I predicted that Vancouver would burn sometime between 2023 and 2025.
Well, that hasn’t happened! So add one to my “wrong” column. But if it isn’t too sleazy, let me mention this: the last two years, 2024 and 25, have been the worst two forest fire seasons across Canada – and in fact across much of Europe – in history. So maybe, amateur and student astrologer that I was at the time, I was seeing an indication of fire in general.
Anyway, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

Remember, during Trump’s first term, I said that John Bolton was a traitor. The reason: just as Trump was about to achieve a peace agreement and a real estate development deal with North Korea, Bolton told Kim Jong-un that Trump was lying to him. The deal immediately fell apart and North Korea resumed its position as one of America’s most fierce enemies. Now Bolton’s home has been raided by the FBI. Remember my little general rule: J – John Bolton – often indicates a Trump enemy

I have been to many places around the world, but never to Ireland. My grandfather was Irish. I came close – to Cornwall on my honeymoon. I thought of going to Ireland, but from England, the fare was over $1400 return, and the airfare was no better. (I guess RyanAir wasn’t allowed in Ireland.) So I immediately abandoned the idea. I thought this must be one of the most expensive places to travel to in the world. It might sound coldhearted, to reject any curiosity about my ethnic heritage. But I only knew that my dad‘s father was Irish. My mother’s “background” was Welsh and English, that’s all I knew.
From this point forward, everything I say might not be fact. It was either told to me or I overheard it. My father said he was wounded by a grenade in Italy before I was born. He told me that he lay on his stomach on an army caught while they took the shrapnel out of his head. He said it was so painful that he bent the iron bar of the cot in two. That’s all he ever told me about the war. That’s OK. I get it.
He left when I was seven. I have vivid memories of him, of his masculinity.
But to return to the subject: although I knew I had Irish blood, I was never introduced to any relatives. I never met my grandmother or grandfather, uncles or aunts, or cousins. I know now that he wasn’t ashamed of us; he was ashamed of himself. Nothing else, no icons or plates with leprechauns, no Irish dances or music, just a father driving from town to town, finding a job in each but always being fired or quitting within a few months. So to me, Ireland was just what it is to everyone: a kind of idyllic green place with sheep, pubs and charming accents. The urge to save money was much stronger than any ethnic tug.

Why, after all these years of vicious, anti-Trump diatribes, is Hillary Clinton praising Trump and saying she might nominate him for the Nobel peace prize?
Could it be that she knows she’s on the cusp of being indicted for her crimes? The timing is just a little suspicious. I wouldn’t trust this woman, ever.

On the broadest, furthest reaching (1,00 years?) philosophical terms, I cannot agree with conservatives. But at present, and generally in attitude, they are the only sane game in town. I feel very hopeful about, and in general agree strongly with, conservative values in family, love and work/ambition.
The Democrats by contrast, at present, are a complete failure, a stew of conflicting power bases. Even the word bases is probably incorrect, because of the many factions the party has split into, only one, AOC, seems to have an appreciable base and a chance to create a new Democratic party.
But in very long range or Meta terms, despite their disarray, Democrats do share one element in common: they are idealists, they want to try ideas and new situations.
(To put it more accurately, some of them are idealists.)

NY mayoral candidate Mamdani, the communist who is hugely favoured to win the election, wants all misdemeanours to be forgiven — only felonies will be charged. Assault w/o a weapon, menacing, forced touching, sexual misconduct — all misdemeanours, and all forgiven by the law.
Now, what if a 40-year-old, 200 pound man starts pushing, punching and slapping an 80-year-old woman; what if she, having a gun, shoots the man who is obviously intent on killing or severely maiming her? Under Mamdani’s laws, she would be thrown in prison while the man walks free (assuming he lives) because he only committed a misdemeanour.
Mamdani’s successful campaign bolsters or begins to fulfill my mid-1980’s prediction that capitalist democracies such as the U.S. would become more communistic, while communist states such as China would become more capitalist. This will all be in a process of creating a third, not yet seen form of government.

Mistakes are a form of opposition. I think we learn, as a species, equally from opposition and learning/instruction. For some people, much learning will be in street smarts, in other words from opposition. Others will lean the opposite way, learning more from scholarship, then from life’s blows.
Much of the opposition we experience is either caused by our own actions, or buy a confluence of “accidentally” negative coincidences or accidents. But in actuality, there are no coincidences, and really no accidents. Our lives woof and warp in a constant interplay with a million other existences. This is the miracle of karma, as it knits its way through time. I said a million, but karma can handle not only infinite existences, but the moments within those existences. 1 million is far too little to express the complexities of karma – just look at one of those photos of the galaxies, and the 1,000,000 figure starts to shrink to a tiny drop. But it’s also too big a number for us to attach to, intuitively or emotionally. We can understand how for instance five or 10 lives — maybe even 50 — might interweave to express a consequential, moral or karmic outcome. But to try and see 1 million people interacting with any clarity, we can only see a big general soup pouring this way or that, as 1 million souls create and swim in karma. — it’s too much for us to see particulars.
Mistakes are a bit unique, in that they show the individual causing and implementing his own karma.

I am 77 years old. About the age of 75 I started to lose interest in money. I’ve got enough, and I wouldn’t want less. But more? Why? My main pleasure now is watching people, thinking/contemplating, and sometimes doing good. I give 65% of my pension to various charities, because I just don’t need it. Things that cost a lot of money just don’t interest me anymore. I don’t really want to travel internationally anymore, and I would feel ridiculous in a new sports car. There’s a kind of freedom in growing old, inversely to “letting go” — I love it.

When/if investing in China, I would look at the nation as if it were 1950s USA. A rising middle class, new aspirations, shiny new cars, everyone buys life insurance, etc.. It’s the energy, the attitude; it’s younger than the USA.

Every liberal wants to be an angel. But they’re like a young bird who stepped out of the nest before its wings were developed. It can be a long way down.
From a far perspective, the Democrats are trying too hard. They are attempting to merge the sexes, by force and prejudice, drugs and perverse operations. They (probably correctly) think that ultimate spirituality has no sex, and that the male and female duality must merge before any ultimate spiritual attainment. But they are 1000 years too early, and have attempted to achieve asexuality through cruel physical means. This is the kind of shortcut the builders of the Tower of Babel tried. As with the tower, the Democrats have been hit with lightning.
