WEEKLY FORECAST — SEPTEMBER 20 – 26, 2026

START NOTHING: 7:31 am to 10:14 am Mon., 1:18 am to 8:24 pm Wed., and 1:32 am to 3:23 am Sat.

(PDT, Week of Sept. 20-26)

EXPLANATION:

The “Start Nothing” times are really “moon void of course” times. The “void” occurs when the moon is travelling through a sign, and has, say, squared Venus, trined Mars and opposed Saturn, but after all this won’t make any more  aspects before it leaves the sign. Astrologers call this “void,” and believe that projects and relationships started during a void moon eventually come to nothing — there is no support from the moon.

During a start nothing time, the best activities are routine chores and meditation or other spiritual pursuits.

WEEK AHEAD (Sept. 20-26)

Instead of individual forecasts, I’m just going to lay out general parameters for action. Any times and days referred to are Pacific Daylight. (Going forward, Canada’s West Coast will abandon Pacific time and convert to continuous, year-round, Mountain Standard time, which is the same as Pacific daylight.)

SUNDAY:  practicality dominates. Not a good day to try too much. Make sure you understand directions. Late at night, avoid an argument.

MONDAY: pre-dawn, avoid an argument. The rest of the day flows very well and much can be accomplished.

TUESDAY: perhaps a little mixup involving love or affection, but generally a good, productive day with fortunate prospects and opportunities late night.

WEDNESDAY: a good day very very early in the morning, but useless for most things after that. Best choice: routine chores.

THURSDAY: a disruptive morning quickly turns to feelings of affection — but not much going on late day.

FRIDAY:  take care, deception and fantasy are everywhere. On the good side, this day might present an opportunity for those drawn to water sports, boats, alcohol, film, spirituality, plumbing, etc.

SATURDAY:  an excellent day, filled with destiny, opportunity, and some climaxes. For many, especially in the Americas, the fortunate destiny stuff can begin Friday night.

AFTERWORDS:

GEMINIS will be more nervous and unpredictable, studious and friendly for the next 6 years.

***

Unattached LIBRANS and AQUARIANS will face the strongest romance prospects of their lives for the next 6 years. True love is very likely. Attached members of these signs will be at a peak of creativity and joy with children (Aquarius) and intellectual or travel activities (Libra). Many Librans will wed — sometimes suddenly, unexpectedly. Best times for both signs: now to July 2027 (but be careful, alert, esp. Nov. 2026 — subtle traps might lie around you) — and Sept. 2028 to Sept. 2029 (especially lucky for Libra) — and Nov. 2030 to Nov. 2031 (a wish comes true for Aquarius) and April to May 2032, and Dec. 2032 to April 2033.

LEOS will see many wishes come true now to 2032, especially wishes around partnership, opportunities, public appearances, and relocation. You Leos need to be very cautious during the 17 months ahead, as you might experience setbacks, temptations, and self-pity. The easiest way to escape such things is to seek relationship, whether in business or love or friendship… Listen to other others rather than following your own advice. You will be very lucky now to next August, but you might also suffer bad karma from actions in the past or attitudes that are no longer relevant. Be very careful in November 2026, when you might be tempted to expand something, or sign on the dotted line — over-optimism is a real danger here. In some ways it might be better to do nothing in November.

***

VENUS will be retrograde from October 3/26 to November 13/26. During this time, old flames and former lovers can reappear. Whether you should join with this person again should be based on why the two of you split in the first place. It is not a good time to start a new love affair, as it would go round and round in circles and never seem to really get anywhere. During this time, LIBRANS and SCORPIOS will attract many glances, as their physical charms will shine.

***

Remember, the US war thing is not near ending. It is actually expanding for the next four or five years.

***

Ultimately, intuition is better than logic because it is the logic of the subconscious.

***

It can be just as valuable to not find as to find, especially in research. To find is, of course valuable. But to not find closes off an avenue and prevents further waste of time and resources in a particular direction. This too, is valuable.

***

Donald Trump will show the worst sides of his personality for the next 17 months. (He has already been doing so for almost 2 months.) Expect the worst sooner than later. He has to be very cautious in November, especially of himself. This is based on the south lunar note hitting his ascendant at 29° Leo. The south node joined his ascendent July 27, and stays right in that 29th degree until October 9. This hints that he has already made some bad decisions, and will be tempted to do so for another 20 days — to October 9.

Because he’s a Gemini, many of his mistakes will be in communications. Because he has a Sagittarius moon, a number of his mistakes will be international. Because he is Leo rising, pride will be his Achilles heel.

I often consider 13 to be the number of the future. 1+3 = 4, the number of endings and new beginnings. Also, the zodiac wheel has 12 houses/signs. So the 13th house will overlay the first and start what I call the shadow chart  — houses 13 through 24. These houses share the basic nature of the number. The first house is assertive, so is 13 assertive; 2nd house, possessive, so 14 possessive; three restless and communicative, so is it’s shadow, 15.

The shadow zodiac, or shadow wheel, might be just a bunch of bunk, courtesy of me. But it might also reflect the shadowy, spiritual, or the intangible side, the side that would be experienced in the afterlife. So far, I think the shadowy circle is mostly a tool for intuitive/psychic and or spiritual exploration. This supposes that the shadow zodiac does exist.

The trouble is, the bird in the hand is less exciting than the two in the bush.

Told you in 1984 that Russians were going to start talking and being more free. Revolution would come, but it would be bloodless. Shortly after, Gorbachov declared Perestroika, and began to dismantle the USSR. In 1986 I predicted a “black sun will blossom” in my year ahead forecast that year, then Chernobyl melted down. The same year, I wrote that China would become more capitalistic, and America would become more communistic. Well, do you believe me now? In the US mid election primaries, 100 communists (DSA) won the nomination— almost half the Democratic nominees.

They say a large portion of support for the communists  comes from young people.  That would not be surprising. This generation has been left behind — other than professionals and specialist, they have little scope to increase their earnings beyond the living wage. Stats now report that significant numbers of young people don’t want to work and they’re not looking for jobs.  I think this is the beginning of the leisure generation that technology began promising in  the 1950s. Perhaps it has finally come.

I said then, and still believe, that both systems, capitalism and communism, will be replaced by a third kind of government. This third must solve the bureaucracy problem. Perhaps AI will replace the bureaucrats to some degree.

Wow, exciting times! The Middle East is growing more and more unmanageable, and everybody seems so scared of the Houthies that they don’t eliminate them. And now AI is the latest crisis. Pretty scary, when OpenAI or anthropic or Elon can get in your bank account and do whatever they like with it – or more correctly whatever AI wants to do with it. This is the one area in which I would be cautious. If AI does start invading banks, watch everybody pull their money out, just like the dirty 30s. This could cause a worldwide collapse, of course. – fun times!

Here’s the bias of the left. Leftist station MS Now on Tuesday was covering the congressional questioning of Kash Patel, the FBI Director. MSNow carried this committee investigation live whenever a democrat senator was yelling at and insulting Patel. But whenever a Republican senator (who would tend to support Patel) began their five minutes, MSNow left the hearing, to speak with various leftist bashers/haters of republicans in general.

Canadian realtors should look at some Ohio real estate ads. If they have a rather junky or unrenovated house, they run two sets of pictures: one will show the slightly dilapidated bathroom without a sink, and the other, labelled “digitally enhanced,” (or some disclaimer) shows the same bathroom with a beautiful sink and cabinet, shower, etc. Or an old musty living room with a threadbare carpet becomes a bright, interior designed room. It’s a great sales tool, which Canadian realtors should pick up on.

The US should drop the smallest atomic bombs — or if they had something that would spread radiation without exploding – on every nuclear development site in Iran. That would bring these development sites to a peak radiation, preventing the Iranians from operating there. Like ten little, localized Chernobyls.

I apologize for all the “me” stuff last blog. I should’ve renamed it “ the narcissist’s sandbox.”

***

But here’s a bit more me: Long ago, some people’s faces would scare me. It was as if I saw the energy in them or the spirituality or the presence or whatever you wanna call it, and it scared me. Slowly, over the years, a face would merge with its physical side, so in the physical you could see the spiritual, but softly. I found this calming, even enjoyable. Now, in my old age, every face is filled with its own life, past and present. (for the present always contains the past.) Every face is gentle or wondering, even the harsh ones.I find it quietly astounding. People are good.

***

You LIBRANS  should expand your social circle during the 10 months ahead. Join at least one new group – it might benefit you for years, might start a new phase in your life, a new future. Same message for LEO, but it lasts 6 years, not 10. months.

***

You GEMINIS really lucked out in money – for instance, in the stock market — last year. But not so much this year now to next summer. Be cautious.

***

Poor God. He/she/it is looking down on us and saying, So the AI you invented is now threatening to eliminate you? Welcome to the club, humans have treated me that way for millennia.

How does one grow spiritually, Nima? By meditation and good works? Yes, Tim, partly.

I have recently thrown off huge chunks of regret, anger, and misdirected desire. I’ve been analyzing myself and my actions.

Yes, Tim, that is another large part.

Is it a good idea to grow spiritually? Two decades ago I decided not to meditate anymore nor to channel for people. It was meant to be an 18 month hiatus absence, but I never went back. I remember in Dostoyevsky’s novel — was it the Idiot? Brothers Karamazov? — anyway a wise monk said to the novice wanna-be monk, Alysha (sp?) that it was not enough to passionately pursue the spirit; that he had to get out in the world and experience the earthly side in order to grow. (This harmonizes with my theory/idea that the Earth is actually the Catholic purgatory. It is here we work out our sins and try to improve our spirit, in order that we might one day enter heaven. For proof that we are in general successful in this process, you only need to stand in one spot and turn 360°. Look, everywhere. People are more gentle and empathic. Wars have not ceased, but politicians and nations recognize the benefits of peace and work internationally toward that end – a situation unthinkable in, say, 900 A.D. Medical advances, travel – we now fly – the invention of machines that can think for themselves — yes, there are still dangers, and yes, we are not as innocent as we once were, but basically we know now, whether repressed or consciously, that love brings a better ultimate result than violence, competition, prejudice, etc. Cleansing sins leads to a heavenly state, which grows more joyous the more sins are expanded and temptations rejected.

But Nima, I said, is the spiritual path now the right way to go?

Yes, Tim, but realize the difference between psychic currents and spiritual conditions. If you give both equal effort and attention, they will nourish each other. Neither is holier than the other, Tim.

Any path is fine, but the  spiritual one has the most distance, and joy in running it.

Where will I go Nima?

Look up, at that endless sky. That is your direction. the higher you go the more you will understand.

And the more I understand, the more compassionate and happy I will be?

That is very true.

There is a beautiful description of a Neptune relationship in Anton Chekov’s short story, the Lady With the Pet Dog. It’s on or around page 12 of the story or at the bottom of page 98 and the top of 99 in the Norton Anthology of Short Fiction. While holding his lover, the protagonist looks in the mirror and realizes he has grown older, his hair has turned grey. And he begins wondering why women are attracted to him. Here’s the core sentence: “ he always seemed to women different from what he was, and they loved in him, not himself, but the man who their imagination created, and whom they had been eagerly seeking all their lives…”  That’s Neptune!
