I warned Republicans here several weeks ago: that they would lose in the mid-terms if they kept putting fusty old suit-and-tie dinosaurs up against young, energetic and charismatic DSA types. As usual, despite probably never reading my advice, they still ignored it.
It will be interesting to see how the new solidly democratic House and Senate will act. Chuck Schumer, one of the most boring people in the world, has bluntly stated that he wants to impeach Trump starting in January. (Despite the Dems two past impeachment effort failures.)
I wonder if the Dems and Trump’s Republicans will be able to cooperate on bills. Or if Trump will veto everything. If they do attempt to impeach Trump again, I would cheer him on with every Veto. It’s kind of funny to hear the Democrats, newly victorious, bewail the corruption of the Trump administration, when the Biden democratic administration was probably the most corrupt in US history. Trump’s corruption, if true, is financial — and common. Biden’s corruption was sexual/mental and directed at malignant surgical and pharmaceutical manipulation of children, imprisonment of pastors and Catholics, and huge legal and illegal attacks on conservatives, and etc.
If I were Trump, I would immediately start bombing Iran, with twice the fury, if he can manage it, as last spring. One thing he could do (but won’t, I’m sure) is to drop a small tactical nuclear bomb on each of the Iranian atomic development sites.

TD BANK will screw you. This is the bank that was recently charged with money laundering in the US. This is the bank that takes your money, uses it, then arrogantly spits in your face. Toronto Dominion Bank is now charging a five dollar fee for any withdrawal from any of your accounts. They say the five dollar fee is only for using the ATM. When I went there today, there were four tellers and about 15 clients lined up for in-person banking. I’ve stood in one of those lineups, and it can easily take you 20 minutes to get to a teller. But if you want to save the bank teller wages, If you want to cooperate with the bank digitally, and use the bank machine, which is in the very same room as the TD tellers, the machine takes five dollars out of your account. So if you’re withdrawing $100, TD Will deduct $105 from your account.. TD is charging you 5% for nothing – just for taking some money out of your own account! What a disgusting bank.
