A short preamble this week….

In the ‘80’s, I predicted that the 250 years ahead would form an era of peace and progress, sympathy and inter-dependence. Rather than world wars, there would be police actions. (Oddly, universities will be places of crime and deception; so will law courts. Both institutions will decline.) In the Bible, Jeremiah states that such predictions – of peace – will only be believed if they come true (Jer. 28:8-9). Well, no one has particularly believed me. But so far (30 years and counting) I’m right. Look around you – surely we have outgrown world wars. And I think I will be right, for hundreds of years to come. – But after 2232, this “peace prediction” ends, for the next era (2232 to about 2480 AD) is not particularly peaceful. It will pit religion against spirit.

(Oops – here’s something interesting, re Israel: Jeremiah, writing about 600 B.C., says: “So then…they WILL say” (i.e., he’s talking about the future) “ ‘…the Lord…brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where He had banished them.’ Then they will live in their own land.” [Jer. 23:8] — my italics. But whether this was true prophesy, referring to 1940’s Germany, Poland, etc. – or simply Jeremiah referring to the Syria, Tyre, etc. of his day – or simply inspiration to the 1940’s Jews – is another question. Pretty cool, tho, eh?)

ARIES March 21-April 19
The busy pace continues: errands, paperwork like falling snow, calls, messages. Might as well plunge in and have fun, Aries – when it comes down to it, you’re a people person. Make sure you contact everyone you should, answer all queries now – by Saturday (June 7) some of these people will be unavailable, some of your missives will go astray. Mail will be lost – a more frequent occurrence with the new, wounded post offices. If it’s important, send it Monday pm., or before 1 pm (PDT) Wednesday. Your money picture looks good all June. Start no new projects before July 1. A second chance to buy a new home, or to find a better rental, occurs now to June 15. (One Aries I know moved in with her boyfriend – voila, new home.) Sunday’s home oriented – stick with routine projects. This night to Tuesday bring romance, flirtations, a creative or gambling urge, beauty and pleasure – you win Monday. Tackle chores Wednesday to Friday. Eat and dress sensibly, protect health. Relationships face you Friday night, Saturday – diplomacy essential!
TAURUS April 20-May 20
Chase money, buy/sell, seek new clients or a pay raise, count and insure your possessions. This is a very natural month for you, Taurus, you’ll feel confident and your strong, velvet touch will impress others. Accept surface appearances; don’t delve too deep. A sensual attraction could arise. However, don’t be so confident that you launch a big new project – wait until July 1 onward to start anything new. This week, clean up overdue tasks. From June 7 to June 30, be willing to revive former, promising ventures or contacts. Sunday, you’re restless, curious, travel-prone, but little comes of it. Settle into home, family affairs Sunday night through Tuesday – all goes well, but don’t invest nor enter any legal areas. A contemplated partnership won’t work out. Romance, creativity, beauty and pleasure draw you Wednesday to Friday. Thursday noonish is dicey, but otherwise this is a fine, heart-lifting three days! Your energy, feeling of well-being, your confidence and charisma stand at a yearly high. You’ll impress others, can obtain favours (or a favourable review). Usually, this would be a great time to start big new projects – but this June Mercury retrogrades (June 7-July 1) so don’t start anything new. Instead, use your heightened energy to give ongoing or lagging projects your support, or to reprise a promising situation/contact/venture from the past. (Though this is not really an old-flame time. If anything, it’s a “former money” time.) Buy routine items (e.g., groceries) Sunday. This eve through Tuesday brings errands, communications, paperwork, news, short travel and casual friends. Get it done Monday. Don’t invest. Home, family, property, soul and stomach, security, retirement planning, gardening – these fill Wednesday to Friday. Start nothing new before July 1, Cancer. Use this week to wrap up ongoing duties and jobs, obtain supplies and answer calls/emails – then use the following three weeks of June to either protect ongoing projects from second thoughts, indecision, missing supplies, cancelled meetings, etc., or to reprise a venture or project from the past. In all this, remember that your energy and charisma are low, so don’t bite off more than you can handle, and don’t expect “eager co-operation” from others. Continue to rest, protect your health, and deal with administrations, institutions or civil servants. Your spiritual side could use a visit (by you). It’s a good month to seek counselling, find a psychic or agent, etc. Your hopes and optimism will remain high. Your energy floats nicely through Sunday daytime. This night through Tuesday brings money matters, shopping, income, into focus – act Monday, when all’s smooth, progressive (except love, partnership). Wednesday to Friday brings errands, emails, casual meetings, paperwork – all smooth, no dangers. Your might meet/spy an alluring person. Home, kids, garden, rest Saturday.
LEO July 23-Aug. 22
You’ll like this easy, uplifting, optimistic, social and happy week, Leo! Stay in the background Sunday daytime, though – rest and nap. This night to Tuesday, your energy and magnetism soar. Others admire you, will grant you favours, will tend to follow your direction(s). Welcome flirtatious attention! However, DON’T start any new projects now through June. Instead, use this week to clean up any lagging bits of duties/tasks, to complete things. Next week through June 30, protect ongoing projects from supply disruptions, unscheduled hesitations and “second options” (don’t take them) and “no shows.” Instead, keep plans flexible (especially travel and social plans) and, possibly, reprise a past project that still shows promise. DON’T start any new, significant projects before July 1 – they would die, choked by the pythons of indecision and delay. (Also, DON’T buy a large item such as a car or television, new phone, etc.) Your legal, intellectual and love (in the broadest sense) interests are mildly favoured to late June. Someone who questioned your “right” or skills might recant. Sunday’s hopeful, friendly – but your only profit is enjoyment, so just enjoy! In shopping, lemons lurk everywhere – or you might find, later, that you don’t need or don’t want the item you purchased. June usually brings you new contacts, opportunities and relationship possibilities – but again, what’s started now probably won’t last, and that includes love and business links. (There’s a bright side in all this: a project, venture, job, relationship, relocation, business or other opportunity from the past might re-appear. There’s no guarantee, but if it’s something you wanted before, grabbing it now could reward you. Tackle routine chores Sunday. This night through Tuesday sparks exciting meetings – Monday’s best. Partnerships, co-operative effort, relocation, even “fame” might be “available” – but it’s a little late in the game to ramp up a whole new relationship or project. Life’s depths, finances, sexual urges, a deep need to change your life, arise Wednesday to Friday. Again, be reluctant to make any new starts. Wisdom, legal affairs, higher learning, far travel, international themes, cultural venues – these characterize Saturday, but more problems than solutions float by you. (I do mean “float,” as you don’t need to face the problems directly.) Your home life remains affectionate to late June.
PISCES Feb. 19-March 20
The general accent lies on home, security, retirement, Mother Nature. This is a restful time, which is just as well, for many activities will get tied in knots during June, by indecision, delays and missing elements. Complete rather than begin projects this week, then strictly avoid any new starts the rest of June. Instead, take care of neglected things: repair those back stairs, or explain to a child why you acted a certain way, bring your insurance up to date, etc. Don’t buy new furniture, nor initiate a new decoration scheme. If you paint the walls, you’ll dislike the color later. Sunday’s pleasurable, nature’s beauty shines, but little happens. Tackle chores this night through Tuesday (only routine chores Tuesday). Protect your health; eat, dress sensibly. Relationships demand diplomacy and co-operation Wednesday to Friday – an exciting meeting could occur; someone seems to find you fascinating. But don’t start a new relationship unless you like mystery, head-to-head stuff, and puzzles that never solve. Careful Saturday: sexual and/or financial lures will probably run into subtle, almost unseen barriers.
