PREAMBLE:

ALL SIGNS: This week’s forecasts will be short, as I am ill again, and just don’t have the energy-time. But you might want to look at the AFTERAMBLE for predictions/ advice about the 18 months ahead. These are mostly from my zoom cast a week ago. If you want to view it, here’s the link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUhwMnzQtvE

Also, remember, start no new projects, relationships nor major purchases before Feb. 3. In fact, here are 2022’s FOUR PERIODS TO START NOTHING: (Mercury retrograde periods):

BEFORE FEB. 3
MAY 9 TO JUNE 2
SEPT. 9 TO OCT. 1
DEC. 28 TO JAN. 17, 2023

FROM  LATE OCT. TO MID-JAN./23, MARS WILL RETRO. — POOR TIME TO START A LOVE AFFAIR, AS THE WOMAN WILL BE CRITICAL, AND THE MAN WILL SUFFER A DOWNTURN IN DESIRE OR PERFORMANCE.

WEEKLY FORECAST:

(Combine these with the outlook for your sign described in the AFTERAMBLE.)

aries icon  ARIES:  March 21-April 19

Pay your home (and your parents and your kids) their due Sun/Mon. Big things might start, and big things might end. Romance calls Mon. night (PST) to pre-dawn Thurs. Bit of a bumpy ride, ‘cuz your mind’s on your ambitions. Tackle chores Thurs. to early afternoon Sat. — success, efforts rewarded. Wednesday starts a month of wishing, optimism, popularity and flirtations.

taurus icon  TAURUS:  April 20-May 20

Errands, calls, texts, paperwork, travel — these fill Sun./Mon. Some messages might have very significant “import.” Head for home, at least in your heart, Monday night (PST) to pre-dawn Thurs. Some struggles, some “repairs” needed, physically or in relationships. Romance, beauty, pleasure beckon Thurs. dawn to mid-afternoon Sat. (Chores Sat. night.) Mostly good — don’t argue Sat. around noon. Wednesday starts a month of ambition, dealing with higher-ups.

gemini icon  GEMINI:  May 21-June 20

Collect, pay bills, shop (but only routine items) and chase money Sun./Mon. Errands, calls/texts, trips, paperwork and contacts fill Monday night to pre-dawn Thurs. (PST). Double-check addresses, etc. — many potholes on this wee road. Head for home Thurs. to Saturday afternoon. Hug the kids. A nice interval, hearts are warmed. Saturday night, romance, creative skills — hope diminished Sat. noon-ish; don’t argue. Wednesday starts a month of legal, far travel, academic, publishing and cultural interests — and gentle, reasoning love.

Cancer icon  CANCER:  June 21-July 22

Your energy and charisma surge upward Sun./Mon., Cancer. You have some definite actions to take regarding a relationship or an opportunity. It’s kind of “all or nothing.” Chase $ Monday night to pre-dawn Thurs. — but carefully, as obstacles arise. But only routine items. Errands, calls, texts, travel, paperwork fill Thurs. to mid-afternoon Sat. — a good, productive interval. (Saturday night, be home.)  Wednesday starts a month of sex, secrets, investments and large financial actions, research, medical concerns and lifestyle adjustments.

Leo icon  LEO:  July 23-Aug. 22

Lie low, rest and contemplate Sun./Mon., Leo. Connect with gov’t, large companies. Seek spirit. Your energy and charisma shine Mon. night to pre-dawn Thurs. (PST). Not an easy interval — you might have to shake things up, or “knock heads.” Chase money, buy/sell Thurs. to mid afternoon Sat. Good flow here, but remember, start nothing new, and buy only routine articles. Wednesday starts a month of relationships, exciting meetings, relocation themes, and opportunities. Be willing to jump on another’s bandwagon.

virgo icon  VIRGO:  Aug. 23-Sept. 22

Your popularity rises Sun./Mon., Virgo. Socialize, see friends, flirt and envisage your best future — it’s probably available this year, as the doors open wide to good, fortunate opportunities until May. Withdraw, rest, contemplate Mon. night to pre-dawn Thurs. Deal with gov’t, admin and health issues, but cautiously — obstacles rule. Your energy and pizzazz leap upward Thurs. to mid-afternoon Sat. — a great interval, so see and be seen, give projects a push (but don’t start one, remember). DON’T invest Sat. daytime. Wednesday starts a month of work, health concerns, employment/employees, and machinery/tools. (But after Feb. 3, not before.)

libra icon  LIBRA:  Sept. 23-Oct. 22

Be ambitious Sun./Mon., Libra. You might take significant, none-redo-able action, such as quitting a job. Not necessarily a mistake! Your hopes rise, so does your popularity, Mon. night to pre-dawn Thurs. Enjoy the mood, but take care with practical matters, as they seem jinxed. Retreat, lie low, rest and contemplate Thurs. to mid-afternoon Sat. Seek spirit, be charitable. You shine Saturday night! Wednesday starts a month of romance, creative and speculative success, joy with children.

scorpio icon  SCORPIO:  Oct. 23-Nov. 21

Truth, a broad, understanding vision, float around you Sun./Mon., Scorpio. A good time to express love, or to write a paper, or travel afar. Be ambitious but careful Monday night to pre-dawn (PST) Thurs. Obstacles and unexpected changes can litter your path. Wishes come true, popularity rises, friends gather ‘round, happiness, perhaps friendly love, fill your heart Thursday to Saturday afternoon. Retreat, rest, Saturday night. Wednesday starts a month of increased domestic involvement.

sagittarius icon  SAGITTARIUS:  Nov. 22-Dec. 21

Sexual attraction, secrets and research, medical and lifestyle choices, and financial actions fill Sunday/Monday. You might make a decision that alters your life forever (in a big or small way). Things you love — far travel, philosophy, law, science, academics, and other cultures — these fill the mid-week interval, but not easily — proceed carefully. Be ambitious Thursday pre-dawn (PST) to mid-afternoon Sat. March forth, you can succeed. Be with friends Sat. night — happiness! Wednesday starts a month of errands, communications and friends.

capricorn icon  CAPRICORN:  Dec. 22-Jan. 20

Relationships fill Sunday/Monday, Cap. You might end one, or deepen one. Things turn deeper mid-week, as sex, finances, medical and lifestyle factors bubble up — but don’t bite: an offer or temptation is likely unfortunate, would lead you into obstacles. A serene, philosophical mood steals over you pre-dawn Thurs. (PST) to mid-afternoon Sat. A good interval — express yourself, speak of love, seek to learn. Saturday night, be ambitious, rub shoulders with VIPs. Wednesday starts a month of income and spending.

Aquarius icon  AQUARIUS:  Jan. 21-Feb. 18

Tackle chores Sun./Mon., Aquarius. Eat, dress sensibly, protect your health. Relationships are important, but flawed, mid-week. Proceed carefully; reject new contacts, “opportunities.” Deep stuff comes pre-dawn Thurs. (PST) to mid-afternoon Sat. — sexual desire, major finances, secrets, research, and medical procedures. Overall, this is a good interval, so act if you want. (Remember, nothing brand new before Feb. 3.) Saturday night, someone might “chase” you — love, far travel, other cultures, law and schooling meet success. Wednesday starts a month in which your energy, charisma and clout will reach an annual high.

Pisces icon  PISCES:  Feb. 19-March 20

Romance, passion, creativity and risk-taking get you fired up Sun./Mon. — you could fall madly in love! Tackle chores mid-week, and protect your health. Follow all safety regs around tools, machines, chemicals. Proceed cautiously. Relationships arise pre-dawn Thurs. (PST) to mid-afternoon Sat. Co-operation, harmony prevail! (But don’t argue about money midday Sat.) Saturday night brings deep and consequential stuff, mostly fortunately. Wednesday starts a month of quietude, rest and recuperation, meditation, and dealings with gov’t, admin types, healers and advisors.

THE END. (SEE BELOW FOR MORE).

AFTERAMBLE:

ALL SIGNS:

For over 18 months I’ve advised you to act in as certain way, and not in another, seemingly similar way. For example, I’ve advised Aries to focus on short trips, casual contacts, details, local affairs and curiosity, and to avoid long trips, formal relationships, big ideas, international affairs, legal matters, intellectual contests, etc. In a sense, the long and short “versions” of the same processes. (E.g., in Aries’ case, read a newspaper, not a book.)

This week the Moon’s nodes, upon which that above advice was based, change signs. (The north from Gemini to Taurus, the south from Sagittarius to Scorpio.) This alters my advice for each sign, this week to mid-July, 2023, as delineated below:

LUNAR NODES ADVICE, JAN./22 TO JULY/23:

ARIES:

Earn money, don’t invest. Beware extra-marital sex, and all venereal diseases. Not a good time to seek pregnancy. Research depressed. Casual contacts, income earning, and casual sex fortunate.

TAURUS:

Be content with yourself. Follow your own hunches and advice rather than that of others. You are blessed now to mid-2023, wiser, mellow.

Not a good time to relocate, deal with the public, litigate, nor form any kind of partnership. Many “opportunities” will be traps, so be discerning and self-contained. You will be calmer, quietly happier than usual, despite being in 7 years of Uber-stress, from 2018 to 2026.

GEMINI:

Beneficial dealings with gov’t, large institutions/companies, hospitals, spas, etc. Good time to enter management roles. Try to avoid hands-on work, esp. routine stuff.

CANCER:

Heavy romance is a frustrating dead-end, despite many tempting visions. But light, friendly love is actually favoured. Don’t be the writer/artist in the attic— get out and join groups of people. Your popularity will be gently buoyant.

LEO:

Career, reputation favoured. Home, domestic situations are tangled, energy-sapping. DO NOT BUY/SELL REAL ESTATE.

VIRGO:

Big ideas, big picture favoured. Far Travel, international affairs, higher learning, science,  statistics, cultural, publishing and love favoured. Distance good.

But avoid wasting time with short, local trips, gab sessions, paperwork, errands, and other somewhat superficial activities.

LIBRA:

Deep sex, pregnancy, investment, research, medical stuff, surgery, lifestyle changes, and even power plays are favoured.

But earning income, getting a pay raise, casual sex, night school and rote learning, buying/selling, day trading, are under a cloud.

SCORPIO:

What happens to you now is karmic. Try to be moral, angelic even, give the cosmos no reason to “punish you.” You might suffer anyway, because 2022/23 is a period of cleansing, of fate scrubbing you clean, so you can start a 9-year success cycle in 23/24.

Seek others, join , attempt partnerships, listen to/seek advice, relocate, and grab opportunities.

SAGITTARIUS:

Hands-on work good. Management bad. Avoid the gov’t and big institutions, companies. Avoid being alone too much. Good time to undertake fitness improvements, eg., diet, exercise. Probably good time to buy tools, machinery.

CAPRICORN:

Deep, heavy romance favoured, also creative and speculative activities. But avoid the crowd —social groups (or any groups) can impede your progress.

AQUARIUS:

Home, real estate, security, nutrition, planting things and ending unproductive things will benefit you. GOOD time to BUY/SELL real estate, to have a child or deal with your kids.

Bad time for career and reputation. Just keep your head down and do your work — DON’T PRESS BOSSES for a raise, to adopt your project, etc.

PISCES:

Local travel good. Conversations, friendly contacts, curiosity, paperwork, these flow easily and satisfyingly. SMALL MEDIA (internet, newspapers, etc) FAVOURED — deep tomes (BOOKS, etc) NOT FAVOURED.

Avoid the big picture. Avoid international affairs, far travel, philosophy —you could form a bad world view now — higher learning, wedding, all formal rituals, legal contracts and the law generally are negative goals.

GENERAL OBSERVATIONS, FORECASTS FOR 2022/23:

BORDER restrictions due to Covid will fade away  — international trade recuperates — Biden’s stock will decline even more, hitting a nadir in Feb/22 — next month, as the South lunar node conjuncts his Scorpio Sun. This COULD be the bottom for Joe, or it could be that at this time he enters an even deeper, darker place, lured there by temptations of power and security. He will be somewhat restored or rebuilt around July 2023, when the north node hits his Taurus Moon. But this is too late for the November mid-term elections, which his party should lose.

However, it bothered me two years ago, when the Republicans were so buoyant, so sure they would win the presidential elections for Trump. They were completely unprepared for the rigged, criminal election designed by big media cover-ups and Zuckerberg’s buying of votes with $450 million of hand-outs. Now the Republicans are at it again, swimming in arrogance and a certainty that Biden’s crimes and incompetence will hand them victory. Not so fast! That crime WON Biden the last election. Why wouldn’t he do a repeat?

FBI corruption will become much worse, and obvious.

NOW TO MID-MAY/22, — HISTORICALLY, JUPITER IN PISCES HAS NOT RAISED THE STOCK MARKETS. (In last 3 occurrences, one up, one down, one sharply down then sharply up.)

JUPITER IN ARIES, MAY ’22 TO JUNE ’23 OFTEN SEEMS TO COINCIDE WITH A STOCK MARKET BULL PHASE. (But this is just a guess, so ”stay tuned.”)

JUP. IN PISCES (to May/22):

Now to May, oil and gas will flow at increased volumes, pipelines will be approved. Big legal fight over Nordstrom (the Russian gas pipeline to Europe). Interest rates rise — so, perhaps, does the NYSE. Inflation even stronger.

Mortgage rates will rise, I think. So lock in your rate now, and for a longish term. (I say I “think” rates will rise. I’m held back from certainty because gov’ts have taken over from nature, and have kept rates artificially low for two decades, initially and presumably to aid the economy, but more and more obviously to support the real estate market. So even when rates could or should have gone up, even modestly, they remained nailed to the floor.)

Hospitals will be filled and new ones built. Retreats, spas, prisons, and “lock-up” hospitals, these will expand, proliferate. New advances in optics, esp. in ophthalmology. Ranks of nurses expand. Bureaucracy expands hugely, mostly under the radar. Big psychic, spiritual occurrences. Water parks make more money. Disney, too. Fashion embraces pastels and diaphanous materials. “Bountiful” women (physically) have a surge in popularity. Drug and alcohol addiction grow, so does acceptance of marijuana.

We’ll hear about a “star plan,” or a new, very long range space mission/exploration.

Charities, NGOs and spiritual orgs will expand.

JUP. IN ARIES (MAY ’22 TO MAY ’23):

Expect sabre-rattling, much military noise and build-up.

The RCMP will have a banner year, May 22-June 23, as their reputation Is restored, government funding expands, etc.

Many weapons manufacturers thrive. Engine makers, too.

USA AND WORLD POLITICS:

Every 247 years, Pluto completes one orbit around the sun. When it returns to 0° Scorpio, a chart drawn for that minute/hour can be used to predict larger trends in the 250 years to follow. (I showed you this some months ago in 2021.)  It can also be used in nationhood predictions.

For example, the USA was born in 1776. If you add 247 years, you get 2023 — next year. Empires often hit a wall or are destroyed, 247 years after their birth. You’ve seen some of this in the USA, as Pluto has approached the 27th degree of Capricorn, where it was July 4, 1776 — division, civil unrest, dictatorial and corrupt leaders have flourished, or at least left their mark.

Pluto was in 27 degrees Capricorn on July 4, 1776 — the day usually accepted for the USA birth. In 2022, Pluto hits that 27th degree degree again, after 246 years, in February, June/July, and December.

(I personally suspect that USA was formed after July 1776, and that Pluto was really in 28° of Capricorn, not the 27th. But it makes a little difference, a month here or a month there.)

In 2023, in January and Sept./Oct. IN MARCH TO JUNE, 2023, PLUTO ENTERS AQUARIUS — where I think it will give rise to hard, violent, stubborn and unappeasable revolutionists. Where they win or not, they will be a major influence right into 2043.

About a year ago I predicted some states would oppose the federal gov’t. That has happened, in voting and pandemic areas. But I think we’ll see the peak of this “rebellion” in 2022 and /23. Some states might approach secession from the Union, or forming their own union.

MAY/JUNE 23 might start a civil war in the USA.  It probably won’t reach the level of competing armies. (Might!) I suspect fights on a police force level.

REGULAR AFTERAMBLE:

I have tremors. They’re genetic. The medical community has difficulty in understanding tremors. There’s little research, and medicinal cures — none of them created for tremors — are haphazardly thrown at the problem in hopes that they’ll work. Some drugs do, for some people, somewhat. There is also surgery, during which a wire is planted in the brain, then surgically passed down the neck into the shoulder and chest, and they’re attached to a replaceable battery.

Two difficulties with this method: one, there’s a 10 per cent chance of dying on the table, or of permanent wheel-chair level disablement; and two, the operation described above only affects one side of the body. To eradicate the tremors in both arms, hands, facial muscles, whatever, you must repeat the operation on the other half of the brain, bringing your chance death to 20%, or1-in-5. For me, those odds are too high.

A third method, after haphazard drugs and surgery, has been experimented with at the University of Toronto. I’m not sure the program is still operating. Here’s their method: a tiny segment of the brain is burned away by either a laser or an MRI beam/wave. Supposedly painless. In one video I saw, a man with severe tremors — he could not put his hat on with one hand, or hold a glass — put out his hands, still, unmoving. He picked up various items, etc., showing total calm control. He was delighted. Last year, whether true or not, I read an article that claimed this method “wore off” after — I think it was 6 months or a year.

Here’s my suggestion: create a room with various everyday tasks: a kitchenette, an eating table, a little fridge, etc. Ask the patient to set the table with plates and cutlery. To put glasses for everyone. Then to make the meal, man or woman. Little tasks, like pouring water/drinks, or stirring a pot, or trying to get food from the pots to the plates. (Though this last one will eat up time, it’s important to see his/her reaction to heat. Perhaps there’s another way — toast?)

Ask him/her to carry a full cup of water across the room. Watch him/her eat. This will be much better overall if someone with severe tremors helps design the room — not to make it tremor-friendly, but to emphasize the tremor-difficult aspects of the furniture, types of plates, etc.

Essentially, the doctor can watch the patient’s movements, their type and severity, and diagnose or catalogue from there. The drawback is time — such a observation would take at least an hour, maybe 90 minutes. The advantage would be an ability to see exactly how tremors act. Someone might successfully lift a half-full, trembling soup spoon to her lips; another might drop the spoon, or fling it across the room.

This might be a difference in intensity, but it might also characterize two different types of tremors. I believe one person can possess (or be possessed by) more than one type of tremor. The two actions just described are my two “extremes” — but I would be lifting the spoon with two hands. The doctor can watch the effects of social stress on the tremors, by inviting other observers into the room.

Didja’ know there are now over 16,000 different cryptocurrencies, each produced by a separate “mint factory”? These are separate from Bitcoin. Some are operated by governments, many by private interests, and some by criminals. I don’t know, guys — it doesn’t increase my faith in these coins.
***.  ***

Trump will lose a bit of his “shine” in the first half of 2022; his popularity won’t increase, and might ebb a bit. He has been nicely ethical, calm and reasonable in 2021; now this fades somewhat. The second half of 2022, into mid-2023, Trump’s popularity will rise.

The Lady in the Snow — good story title.

Does it strike you as strange that Biden’s son left a laptop filled with incriminating evidence about his father in a computer shop and never bothered to retrieve it… And now Biden’s daughter left her diary in someone’s house, a diary purportedly containing the kinds of things Joe would never want the public to know. (I won’t mention what, as it’s only rumour — and if true would put Biden in jail for decades.) A subconscious urge in both kids to expose their father?
***.  ***

When I write, esp. a long article like last week’s on Biden, my mind often jumps to other ideas while I’m in the middle of another one, so sometimes I jump around, afraid to lose the new idea also, and the writing suffers. Oy Vey.

About my questioning of gravity:

At least 3 scientists/researchers responded, all basically saying that cold air falls and hot air rises because cold air is more dense, and hot air much less dense. This is demonstrably true. But why is it true, if gravity pulls on all objects (masses) with equal force and speed?

If a cold molecule and a hot molecule weigh the same — or even if they DON’T — gravity supposedly does not discriminate. If a cold molecule weighs, say, 1 nano-ounce, and a hot molecule weighs only 1/2 nano-ounce, gravity should STILL exert the same force on them. So why does one “escape” gravity and the other is “imprisoned” by gravity? (I’m ignoring the small increase in mutual gravity between two larger objects.)

If you put a little tin soldier in a box of Cheerios, and shake the box, the tin soldier will slowly fall to the bottom. But why? Why does heavier weight/mass displace lighter weight/mass when supposedly gravity acts equally on both?

‘Splain that, Batman.

The only answer seems to be that gravity works equally on different weights and sizes, as long as they have the same density. So, obviously, gravity works equally on different weights, but NOT on different densities. If Galileo had dropped a 1 pound ball of aluminum, and a 1 pound ball of lead, even in a vacuum (so no air resistance) they would have fallen at different speeds? If that’s true, then why were we given a different impression in grade school? Or is the density solution wrong?

Sure, hot air molecules demand more space than cold ones, because their electrons, etc, whiz around more frenetically, and therefore the orbit expands, and so does the air molecule. But the ONLY DIFFERENCE between the hot and cold molecules is density, NOT WEIGHT. So greater density will always move towards the gravitational mass centre (in this case earth) more strongly and quickly than lesser density (hot air).

So gravity does NOT act equally on different weights, but differently on different densities. Since virtually every object on earth has a different, unique density, Galileo’s “equal fall time” virtually never applies.

Is that correct? If not, I’m sorry, I just don’t understand. Sure, you can put a tennis ball under water, and it will pop to the surface — NOT because it weighs less than water, but because it is less dense? So objects of different heights DO NOT fall equally.

Right? Wrong? I don’t understand. (I’m often blind to the obvious.)
