PREAMBLE:
This column is written, in every part, for Pacific Time Zone (western edge of North America). So whenever I “remind” you that a time I’m giving in the forecasts is “PST,” you can add 3 hours for the east coast, 8 hours for UK, 9 and 10 hrs. for Europe, 13.5 for India, 15 for China and 17 (usually) for Australia. E.g., noon PST is 8 pm UK, 1:30 am the next day in India, 3 am next day in China, etc.

You might have noticed that I’ve been tweaking the start and end dates for some signs over the last few months. I’m trying to get the changeover dates that will apply to the most people. This is because the dates fluctuate year to year, especially during leap years. Pisces, for instance, starts on February 18 this year, but might start on February 19 other years.
Those of you born on a cusp (i.e., very near the change-over dates for the signs) might have to consult an astrologer to find out which sign you are, technically and officially.
But the change between signs is not sudden and dramatic. For example, if Taurus was red and Gemini was white, the last few degrees (roughly equivalent to days) of Taurus and the first few days of Gemini would be pink.

WEEKLY FORECAST:
ARIES: March 21-April 19
It’s your last week of celebration, social happiness, optimism and friendly love, Aries. Friday starts a month of quietude, rest, management/policy actions (closed door discussions) and spiritual seeking. Be charitable, seek advice, contemplate and plan. Your career zone continues to hop with activity and opportunity. Get lots of rest, but don’t be lazy doing this opportune time. Apply for a management position — you might get it before June.
Sunday’s for home, family — give yourself, your time, to them. Romance looms large Monday to noon Wed. (PST). If you really chase it, there might be a prize at the end of this rainbow (you could fall madly in love) but most of you will (perhaps wisely) abandon the pursuit partway.
Dive into chores midday Wed. (PST) to suppertime Friday. A great interval, overall. Great time to buy machinery or a computer, Thursday morning or Friday before mid-afternoon. Friday night, Saturday, bring relationships, exciting meetings, opportunities. In these, the least glamorous are the most reliable.
TAURUS: April 20-May 20
It’s your last week of ambition and prestige pressures, Taurus. But your recent mellow views, international activities, intellectual and cultural involvements and gentle love continue into March. By Friday, a month of popularity, social delights, friendly romance and optimism will begin — one of the best such months in a decade!
In the weeks ahead, this optimism and popularity should join nicely with your increased open-mindedness, widened vision, and love of all. Single Taureans might meet a future mate! For all of you, a cherished wish might come true (before mid-May).
Travel and communicate Sunday (esp. about the/your future). Steer toward home Monday to mid-day Wed. You might face a bit of opposition here, but what you do accomplish is important. Take several naps. Romance, beauty, pleasure, games, risks, creative surges — these fill Wed. noon to Friday evening. Charge ahead here — success, winnings, even love possible. Chores, Friday night, Saturday — just plod along. Eat, dress sensibly.
GEMINI: May 21-June 20
This is your last week of intellectual production, legal affairs, cultural or academic involvements, and love. It’s time to make a decision about love. On Friday, you start a month of career, prestige relations and worldly ambition — perhaps the most successful month in this zone in a decade.
Work hard, keep your eye on the brass ring, and promote yourself to higher-ups. Push! (The ambition luck continues into May, but it will be bigger, better, the more you strive next week to late March.) Your investment, financial, health and sexual links tend to improve now to early March — push ahead on these, esp. February 25 to March 5.
Chase money, buy/sell Sunday. Shop. Errands, communications, paperwork, contacts and curiosity fill Monday to midday Wed. Exercise some discretion, re-read emails before sending, etc. Wednesday morning’s missives could net a big response.
To home, hug the kids, speak kindly to your mate, Wednesday noon to Friday eve. This is a good, strong interval for renovations, decorating, garden, making the house more “electronic,” (i.e., those spying devices that turn on your lights) etc. Friday night, Saturday, bring romantic notions — but you’ve just entered a “career/work” month, so, in love, don’t wish for the moon. (Sex would be a more realistic wish.)
CANCER: June 21-July 22
Cancer, the main emphasis remains on secrets, finances, sexual temptations, life changes, and medical zones — only to Friday, when a month of far travel, intellectual expansion, law, cultural and international affairs, media and science, arrives. This could be a very meaningful month, esp. around March 5, when super-luck could boost your ventures (from love to publishing to foreign travel, etc.).
Relationships hold an intriguing grip on you, perhaps love’s lasting grip… this might turn to a wedding in March (or April or May!). Hint: stubbornness will not succeed, flexibility and admiration of another’s talents, projects, will.
Your energy and charisma peak Sunday — use them to achieve a travel, legal, intellectual (or love) success — morning, PST, best. Chase $ Monday to midday Wednesday. Buy, sell, issue invoices, etc. A casual sexual link might appear. Paperwork, errands, trips and communications fill Wednesday pm to Friday eve. This night and Saturday nudge you toward home, kids, spouse — all’s well.
LEO: July 23-Aug. 22
The recent emphasis on relationships, opportunities and possible relocation will end Friday, when 4 weeks of deep stuff begins — secrets, pregnancy, sexual desires, financial actions, life changes and medical procedures. These “interests” will actually last until May, and will be: a) very fortunate, or b) simply expand. (Good for $ to expand, bad for medical woes to expand.)
Either this week or during the 2+ months to follow, a sexual affair might turn to real love, then… who knows? Until early March, workmates will be active, affectionate, humorous.
Lie low, sleep and recuperate Sunday. Your energy and charisma surge upward Monday to noon Wed. Somebody is “ready to talk.” Use your personal presence to deepen a relationship. Chase $ Wednesday pm to suppertime Friday. Search for bargains. Thursday’s pretty good for asking for a pay raise, boosting your prices, or buying electronics (e.g., a computer). Paperwork, casual friends, trips and communications fill Friday night, Saturday. All’s well.
VIRGO: Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Still 5 days of drudgery, work, service and health concerns, Virgo. Friday starts an exciting and lucky month of meetings, relationships, opportunities, relocation, and public dealings — singles could 1) meet their future mate, or 2) end a love affair, or 3) find a home with someone special. [Marrieds could do 2) or 3) also.] Your romantic life continues to percolate for 3 more weeks.
Sunday, you’re restless — call a friend or relative, get a gathering going. (You’ll be popular.) But retreat from the crowd Monday to noon Wednesday. Sleep, ponder, plan. Seek advice, deal with gov’t or management types. Your energy and pizzazz returns Wednesday pm to suppertime Friday. Jump on opportunities, be a leader, start things. You’ll succeed (and might impress someone sweet). Chase $ Friday eve, Saturday. Buy and sell, work overtime, issue invoices, etc. Slow and steady does it.
LIBRA: Sept. 23-Oct. 22
The general accent remains on romance, Libra, on creative and speculative projects, talented kids, sports, beauty, gambles — until Friday. That day starts 4 weeks of work, machinery, employment/employees, and “everyday” health matters. Yes, this will be drudgery, but it also can be terrifically fortunate. You might get a raise or promotion, buy a machine that will increase your earnings, find the cure to a nagging p/t illness (e.g., muscle aches, or headache) or simply find a good job.
For 3 more weeks, your home life remains active, significant, affectionate and “loud.” You might dump a lazy lover.

This is your last week of down-home vibes, Scorpio. If you have any repairs or back-yard projects to launch, better do it soon — Sunday (13th) best. Otherwise, rest, ponder, hug the kids. Midweek, you might cut out some stale, unproductive situations, projects or relationships, in order to nurture new ones.

It’s the last week of “light stuff,” Sage — paperwork, trips, and calls, errands, etc. Friday ends this trend, and starts a month of domestic issues. (Including childhood events.) A very lucky month if you want to sell or buy a home, other property. (Or even to find a much better rental.) For part of this month ahead, to March 5, you also have good luck, ease, in money matters. Banks favour you now.
Sunday’s for just that — investment/financial action, and home/family matters — best before 11 am PST (2 pm EST, 7 pm Britain, etc.). Monday to noon Wed. (PST) features law, intellect, far travel, international influences, and gentle love. Possible climax (or something’s over-priced) Wed.
Be ambitious Wednesday pm to Friday suppertime. Your career, worldly reputation, and prestige relations are highlighted. Good luck rides with you, so charge ahead. Small wishes come true Friday night, Saturday. Be social — your popularity and cheerful demeanour attracts friends and allies.
CAPRICORN: Dec. 22-Jan. 19
The general emphasis, Cap, lies on money, earnings, possessions and casual sex. (And rote learning, because memory is a “possession.”) Friday ends this, as a month of communications, trips, visits, paperwork and swift, easy chores begins. Expect to be ultra-busy late week into late March, even to mid-May. This whole week is rather easy, and ends on a success note.

AQUARIUS: Jan. 20-Feb. 18
You remain energetic, clear-minded, Aquarius — on top of your world, wherever that might be. Your charisma is high, so be a leader, cultivate allies, start significant projects. But don’t leave it too late — Friday starts a month of $, possessions, casual sex, and rote learning. (These will be the source of large opportunity, of considerable luck and expansion until May, but esp. this Friday to late March.) This might (only might) relate to a new management role, or some largesse from the govt.
Sunday’s for chores — start early if you can. Plumbing, or “mass cooking” favoured. Monday to Friday contains a potentially huge relationship development. You start with “open relationships” Monday to noon Wednesday, then from this point to suppertime Friday the relationship can burrow deeper, mining reservoirs of money, sexual desire, or lifestyle change (maybe medical considerations, too).
So, in a simplistic example, you could meet love early week, and make a baby late week, or progress from a business agreement to actual funding, to real action and commitment. Friday eve, Saturday bring themes of legalities, intellectual growth, far travel, religion/philosophy, media/publishing, and gentle love. Ah, Aquarius, you could have so much, if you would only embrace it.
PISCES: Feb. 19-March 20
The general accent remains on rest, recuperation, govt, management, pondering and planning, seeking advisors and spirit — until Friday. That day, a month of super luck, of self-promotion (which can lead to an actual promotion) of effectiveness and good timing, begins. (More on this later.) Until March 5, wishes can come true, your popularity will rise, and optimism will buoy every step you take.
Sunday’s for romance, creative and speculative projects — act early for success (before 11 am PST — 7 pm in Britain, 2 am Monday in China, etc.) Tackle chores and protect your daily health Monday to noon Wed. Wednesday might bring a climax — e.g., you finish a big chore, or find employment, etc.
Relationships fill an exciting interval, Wednesday pm to suppertime Friday. You could fall in love, grab an opportunity, relocate, form a (probably lucrative) partnership. These “grow deeper” Friday eve, Saturday — lust, power motives, financial doorways, all lure you — but not in the direction of your hopes and dreams. Choose between short and long term.
