ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	Let’s continue the Saturn forecasts/influence for every sign. Please don’t read these for a an uplifting or hopeful message, but for a “reality check” that governs a certain area of your life – probably less than 10 per cent, unless you fixate on the area where Saturn is orbiting and give it extra influence in your life. Remember, Saturn is the planet of restrictions, age (and age differences – e.g., if a 20 year old man was fooling with a forty-year old woman, both would be under the aegis of Saturn) and of time – usually, slow, slow time. Saturn’s main message to us is threefold: work, be prepared, and wait. We should thank Saturn for letting us know where our restrictions lie, where we cannot expect quick results or easy luck – where we might need to handle things before our neglect causes loss. So here is more “Saturn”:
	LEO, from October 5, 2012 to mid-September 2015, Saturn will bring restrictions and a sober mood to fundamentals: home, real estate, parenting, gardening, nutrition/food, digestion, soul and similar areas. Protect or buttress these areas without making them a priority – fix that basement, reconnect with your spirit, eat for health, re-establish trust with a family member, etc. In business and personal life, the strength of your foundations will allow expansion and growth of other areas, such as love, money-making, employment, health, etc. Neglected foundations will restrict growth. The bounty of the fruit tree depends on its roots. Don’t buy real estate during this period. A job might end. On the good side, the past three years of restricted short distance travel, problematic relations with siblings, dampened curiosity, and sluggish or unaffectionate communications, now ends and rights itself – soon, you’ll be whistling happily! 
	VIRGO, your money window was clouded during the last three years; you made less, or spent more. When Saturn moves into the sign SCORPIO in early October, 2012, your money picture will begin improving, right up to late 2016 through 2017, when a lucky earnings peak will occur. While Saturn stays in Scorpio (to September 2015) you will find relations with siblings and casual acquaintances slow; everyday spontaneity and ebullience will fade, to be replaced by more sober communications – and quiet social events. This can be said of your communications in general: slow and careful become the trend. Travel, errands, emails, telephones, paperwork, applications and reports, filing, distribution, dispatching, and “finger work” (e.g., typing) will be more difficult than usual. There is a silver lining: despite the slowness and sobriety of these zones over the three years ahead, you will derive pleasure from them – because wherever Saturn goes, you find pleasure and beauty. This period might bring true love to you – perhaps from the very things that are restricted, such as travel. You could meet love on a bus trip, or through emails (internet). But don’t start a practical (business) mail campaign.

Aries   March 21-April 19
A month of romance lies before you, a month of adventure, risk/reward, speculation, sports, pleasure, beauty, charming children, and, last but not least… peace. Tackle chores Sunday. Relationships loom as subtle problems Monday p.m. to pre-dawn Tuesday, then they become smooth, lucky. Love is possible! Chase inspiration Wednesday night – about money, investments, debt, sex, intimacy, lifestyle changes. (Any ideas you get will work out over the decade ahead.) A sweet, gentle, loving mood makes Saturday fortunate: get up early for travel, intellectual events – and for love!

Taurus   April 20-May 20
The main accent lies on home, property, kids, soul and stomach. Start nothing new before August 8, especially in food, kids’ programs, real estate, etc. Your money situation remains buoyant. Work will be hard but successful until late August (as Tuesday/Wednesday show) – but if you avoid work, you will probably face health difficulties. (That’s often the choice: work or diminished health. Mentally and emotionally, work lifts the clouds, strengthens self-confidence, which in turn strengthens physical health.) Romance calls Sunday. A meeting “isn’t,” late week. Mysteries Saturday.

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Start no new projects or relationships before August 8, Gemini. The main accent during the weeks ahead lies on communications, travel, casual acquaintances, paperwork, news media, and curiosity – the areas where delays, mistakes and indecision will be most prominent. So stick with ongoing ventures, or grab an opportunity from the past. However, avoid re-starting written tomes: they would only grow more confused. A “distant” friend or sibling might return. Romance could get “hot,” especially Monday to Wednesday. (“Hot and cold” is more accurate.) Work, late week. Excitement Saturday!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
The accent shifts to earnings, possessions, sensual affairs, memory and rote learning. Don’t start new projects/relationships before August 8, especially in these areas. Accept surface appearances – looking beneath can cause delay, loss. A “gift” might come to you from the past – accept. Your home is a combination of friction and good luck until late August, so remain aware. (This week, especially Tuesday/Wednesday, home matters flow luckily.) Romance seems to call Wednesday eve to Friday, but after a sweet start, nothing happens. Oh, well. Tackle chores Saturday – all’s good!

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Start nothing new before August 8, Leo. During the weeks ahead, your energy and charisma will climb strongly, friends will gather ‘round, and a restless mood will exist – your curiosity will lead to travel, conversations and media contacts (especially this Tuesday/Wednesday). But the best of these will have some strong link to the past – e.g., travel to see an old friend/lover. Chase money Sunday. Wednesday night begins a 3-day focus on home, kids and parents, property and foundations – but only Wednesday brings anything lasting. Stick to routine chores. Saturday’s for love, pleasure!

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Retreat, rest, contemplate and meditate for the few weeks ahead, Virgo – but, before August 8, don’t plan: schemes formed before then would have to be thrown away eventually. You might feel overwhelmed by government (or head office) contacts and demands, management duties, and health concerns. But if you tackle only the old, neglected stuff here, you’ll clear it away, and any new demands will eventually disappear on their own. You energy’s best Sunday/Monday. Chase money mid-week. Thursday/Friday bring errands, talk, emails – but none are significant. Good luck at home Saturday!

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Sunday starts a month of celebration. You won’t feel it Sunday to Monday afternoon, as your energy and charisma ebb. But your strength, charm and luck return powerfully Tuesday/Wednesday – you’ll attract admirers. Still, start nothing new in any area, especially in social and organizational zones, before August 8 – no conventions, political moves, etc. During the same period (to August 8) former friends, flirtations, and group interests might return from the past – it’s a great time for family reunions, re-igniting old flames, etc. Money promises, doesn’t deliver, Thursday/Friday.

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
The main accent lies on career, prestige relations, responding to authority, status and worldly ambitions, until late August. But don’t start anything new, especially in these areas, through August 7. Save your action impulses until mid-late August. Use the two weeks ahead to protect ongoing projects/contacts from delays or misunderstandings, and, if it comes to you, accept a temporary return to a former duty/role. You’re happy, popular Sunday/Monday. Settle down, rest and handle governmental or management duties Tuesday, early Wednesday. A lucky money run occurs Saturday.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
Start nothing new before August 8 in any zone, but especially in the areas that are strongly accented now to late August: far travel, publishing, higher learning (i.e., beyond high school) cultural affairs, internationalism, and love. A wedding planned for this period should be rescheduled: if it can’t be, something’s incompatible (you guess what). On the plus side, an old flame might appear, or a former school program, travel itinerary, etc., could return from the past. If so, grab it/them! Your hopes are high, especially about love Tuesday/Wednesday. You shine Saturday!

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
Don’t start new projects or relationships before August 8, Cap. The month ahead emphasizes  finances, investments, debt, intimacy and its consequences, lifestyle changes, mysteries, research/detective work and health diagnosis. These are the very things most likely to be impacted by delays, indecision and mistakes. (Don’t revise your stock portfolio before the 8th – “Don’t touch” is the best advice.) VIPs are testy to late August, but ambition is rewarded Wednesday. Though the overall atmosphere is sober, friends, hopes and smiles come Thursday/Friday. Sweet dreams, Saturday.

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Don’t start new projects or relationships before August 8, Aquarius. The weeks ahead emphasize relationships, relocation, opportunities, co-operation and opposition – the very areas which are most subject to indecision, delays and mistakes. A former suitor or spouse might communicate (perhaps a Gemini, for love; or a Virgo, for sex – the latter Sunday/Monday?). Strictly avoid starting or responding to legal challenges (especially Monday to Wednesday, but right into August 23.) A sweet, solidly lucky romantic situation/mood carries you through all mistakes. Joy, friends, Saturday!

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
The main foci for the weeks ahead are work, machinery, dependents and health – the very areas where you will experience delays and indecision until August 8. Don’t begin important projects before then. Your home remains sweet – and lucky, but before September, don’t optimistically overspend (on furniture, renos, mortgage, etc.). You have felt a surge of “investment impulse” in July – it’s dangerous before August 8, unless a financial opportunity returns from the past. (Which could occur on a lucky Tuesday, early Wednesday.) Romantic notions late week. Saturday, ambition’s news!
