ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

       I won’t be available for clients from July 26 to August 15. After that, I will put my new phone # and email here in this preamble. We do have a cell phone, 647-381-1337. It’s a Toronto #, but won’t be operating until August sometime. 
       Many mutable “natives” (PISCES, GEMINI, VIRGO and SAGITTARIUS) frequently change homes over the course of their lives. The downsides of this tendency are triple: 1) if real estate is strongly growing in price they often miss out on the larger gain; 2) they don’t establish enduring friendships and relationships in one community; 3) their children become “infected” with  the same restlessness. The cure for these signs? Have two or more (permanent) homes or properties, and shuttle between them. (These four signs also tend to marry more than once.)
       CAPRICORN, between August 21/09 and March 3/11, the lunar north node (good karma) will lie in your sign, while the south node (difficult karma) transits your sign of relationships and opportunities. This hints that during these 18 months, you should be independent and project your personality.  You, your mood, and the impression you make on others will be protected, will receive a certain amount of “cosmic gentleness.” Your ideas, morals and ethical outlook will be trustworthy and good (so do trust them!). Your intuition  should also operate reliably. This is a splendid influence for this time, because Pluto is dunking you into the sea of transformation, and changing you to the core – your personality, attitudes and beliefs. What better time for an additional blessing from the universe, ensuring that your development is beneficial through this time of deep change? Your plans for the future and your social life are also changing – again, both are founded on your personality, so these changes should also garner karmic/cosmic blessings. Maintain your calm and be self-directed.
       During the same 18 months, you’ll be tempted to join forces with another, to marry or co-habituate, to form a business partnership, to contract or negotiate agreements, to litigate, relocate, or to leap on a variety of opportunities that all, in one way or another, involve a mutual effort or a commitment to another person. Be wary of these, Cap. Binding yourself to another during this time (and others will want you to!) can lead to frustratingly irresolute conditions or loss. For example, marrying could bring a suffocating, velvet trap long-term; a business partnership or contract could tie you to an unprofitable, hard-to-escape circumstance. Even litigation is a form of binding. If anyone attacks you (also a form of “attachment”) you’ll succeed if you walk away, fail if you stay to fight. Be happy, productive, ambitious, loving, gentle, romantic, flirtatious, sexually involved – but remain independent!

Aries   March 21-April 19
Your domestic concerns intensify (Sunday night to Tuesday night) just before they fade. Perhaps you accomplish a final, completing stroke, or perhaps something stops you in your tracks. Either way, Wednesday begins a month of joy, romance, winning, beauty, sports and games, pleasure, creativity and self-expression – the past is gone, and you’re launched anew! (Start NO romances Sunday too Tuesday eve – they’d fail.) Wednesday/Thursday, a new passion might begin – though a “message” Thursday might give you pause, doubts. Tackle chores Friday/Saturday: follow safety rules.

Taurus   April 20-May 20
A restless, active month ends Tuesday. You might make one rather significant trip or communication the first three days. Significant, that is, in feelings, observations – not a lot of “earthly result” will grow out of this in future. The weeks ahead hold domestic matters, kids, home, property, security, nutrition, gardening, mother nature, etc. DON’T look at real estate or make any significant move in the domestic arena this week. (If you’re eager to “start looking” do so July 26/27, next week.) Romance, creativity and pleasure draw you Thursday night (good) and Friday/Saturday (chilling out is best stance). 
       
Gemini   May 21-June 20
A “money month” ends Tuesday – before it does, you might be tempted to make one last significant purchase, but be careful (all week) – especially if real estate or furniture, household items involved. The weeks ahead, starting Tuesday, accent travel, communications, reports, details, errands, and casual contacts. Don’t jump on an impulse or goal in these zones mid-week. You might flounder for direction. The best thing you can do “appears” (or awaits you) July 19, 26 and 27 – charge ahead in these: intellect, publishing, travel, romance, legalities and culture: love and luck await!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Take a long rest Sunday daytime – or solve work, investment, finances. Your energy, effectiveness and ability to persuade others, surges Sunday night to Tuesday. However, be careful in opposing others (especially Sunday night) and in any behind-scenes investigation or communication (e.g., gossip). Wednesday begins a month of money – spending, earning, seeking new sources/clients – and of sensual contacts. This week isn’t really lucky in these, so wait until July 26 onward to act. You could meet a new friend Thursday night. This could become love, but it will restrict your ambitions.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Dream away Sunday – you feel, correctly, that something good is brewing! But rest this night through Tuesday. Handle one last government missive or administrative, health or charitable task. Your energy soars Tuesday night – and you’ll stay energetic, charismatic, effective and impressive for weeks to come! However, don’t fall in love with yourself or your ideas Tuesday/Wednesday: a subtle trap lurks. Instead “get used to” your new vigor and power: by July 26 onward, you’ll get enough done!  (And remember that all 2009, your big luck comes from another: be nice!) Money’s lucky Thursday night.

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
This is a jumbled week; it will be easy to go in many conflicting directions, and end frustrated. The best approach is probably to sit back and let  things evolve, to study  rather than act. Your ambitions could find an open door Sunday – it comes from a relationship or inspiration about a co-operative plan. You feel social, popular Monday/Tuesday, and a VIP, parent or boss might confer praise or a “blessing” on you. By Wednesday, a quieter tone enters, to last four weeks. Rest, contemplate, plan, be charitable and deal with spiritual searches, government agencies or institutions, in the coming weeks. 

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
A month of pressure ebbs, but not before a “false start” is dangled before you Sunday to Tuesday. (Could be a new career or work project, a sudden ambition, etc.) This will die on the vine, so don’t give it much energy or money. These three days are a terrible time to start a romance, but they’re good for a legal or philosophical victory in home/real estate, or over someone who continually tries to restrict you. Wednesday begins a month of prime socializing, wish fulfillment, affectionate flirtations, group activities and fresh horizons! For best results, wait until July 26/27 to dive into these.

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
You’ll learn secrets Sunday – though the only confirmation might be your intuition. A wise, mellow mood (evident most of July) flows in doubly Monday/Wednesday. An urge or idea to start a new journey, higher education program, legal action or publishing/advertising campaign is a non-starter – as events will later confirm if you do start it. Wednesday beings a month of career striving, dealings with VIPs, bosses and parents, and status/prestige concerns (even if you’re a homemaker). Don’t act on ambitions Tuesday nor Wednesday. After fine – next week even better. Glimpses of happiness Friday/Saturday!

Sagittarius    Nov. 22-Dec. 21
Relationships are intense (through late August) but if you can last out this fractious week, that intensity will show one or two gratifying, loving, creative opportunities! (A dream could come true in these sectors next Sunday/Monday – July 26/27.)  Sunday’s for attractions and fights. Be diplomatic. A new research, investment, debt, sexual, intimate, lifestyle or health (surgery or heavy drug) project could arise Sunday eve to Tuesday. Reject it; it has no “legs.” A month of gentle love, cultural involvements, higher education, legal matters or far travel starts Wednesday – but avoid these before July 26.

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
July’s relationship trend might reach a climax and a new beginning Sunday to Tuesday. But this beginning is overblown, likely to crumple before it matures. So don’t start a new relationship, agreement, contract, relocation, or jump on any (new) opportunity. The entire week is a bit jumbled, so proceed with ordinary caution every day. Wednesday starts a month of secrets, research, large finances, sexual urges, subconscious desires and dreams, lifestyle changes, health concerns and commitments – plunge into these July 26 onward, not now. A sweet, understanding mood arrives Friday/Saturday!

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Four weeks of drudgery end as Wednesday triggers as a month of fresh horizons, opportunities, relationships, exciting meetings  and attractions, agreements and contracts, public dealings, potential fame, and relocation. This whole area was one to avoid the past 18 months, and still is, Wednesday – but after this a new chance arrives. That “chance” will be  a lot better if you wait until July 26/27 (next week) to pursue – even to find – it. And for all the summer ahead, be diplomatic, join others; don’t start a fight now to June 2010 -- you could lose it. Romance is/will be intense for singles! 

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
A month of romance ends mid-week, though it might have one last arrow to send your way Sunday to Tuesday. I wouldn’t trust any new, swelling attraction – it’s likely to have a short, unhappy life. Wednesday begins a month of work, duties towards your dependents, health concerns, employment  issues and machinery. It’s wisest to let the chores come to you – or at least not to seek them out Wednesday/Thursday. (July 26/27 will be two excellent days to buy machinery or invest in your – or your kids’ – work/career future.) Relationships are “touched with destiny” Thursday night, but not Friday/Saturday.
