ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	Gee, I can't get through one Mercury-retro period with an apology, retraction or restatement. Last week, for SAGITTARIUS, I implied that far travel, law, higher-education and such matters were "failure prone" for the rest of 2007 - which of course contradicts my "Year Ahead" advice for you Sages. I was hurrying last week. Here's the more complex picture: Until August 6/07, these matters (legal, travel, educational) are favored if they arise from the past. From August 6 to 22, old and new projects are immensely favored. August 23-31 is favored if you can see the pitfalls. September 1 to December 18, new educational, etc. projects are NOT favored - in fact they will fight emotional and circumstantial headwinds. Here's the odd thing for Sages: you love university/college, and 2007 is a great breakout year for Sages. But university/college traditionally commences in September, and September 2006 and 07 hold a Jupiter-Saturn square, which squelches success in these very spheres. So what's a Sage scholar to do? Start in spring, summer or winter - NOT September! (Or simply wait until 2008/09, when conditions are "normal" for learning.) 
One further note for Sagittarians, and EVERY SIGN:  September 1-December 18 2007 fight practical success, and are difficult for new starts. In general, 2008 is great for new starts, especially practical ones. (Much better for practical projects than 2007.) However, mid-November 07 to January 29/08 holds a retrograde Mars, which indicates that our determination and will-power will be lacking, and that new love affairs (those started in this period) might have to struggle with complex and enervating sexual issues. (Retrograde Mars often indicates flagging potency in men, and the sparks criticism from women toward men. Yes, there's a connection, but it's a chicken and egg conundrum.)
Then Mercury goes retrograde from January 28 to February 18 2008. That's why you'll see me mentioning, now and again, to start major projects after February 18 next year.
August 6-to-22 2007 is great for every sign. It's the luckiest month of 2007, though also the most serious. You don't have to accomplish a huge superhuman project -  just make a valid, serious start. Put your foot solidly in a new direction, buy that house, or send off those job applications, buy that international air ticket, ask someone to marry you, etc. What's begun in August could grow for many benevolent years. If you've already started, though, especially if in January, early February, March or early April, just keep on going!

Aries   March 21-April 19
The accent lies on home, real estate, your domestic situation, security, retirement, and endings and beginnings. Contemplate what and who you should stick with and nurture, and what/who you should leave behind. But don't act on your thoughts until after July 9. Your money flows increase through early August. You'll gain - IF you can conserve, avoid spending. (That won't be easy, for you feel romantic now, and everything looks beautiful! Wait, at least, until July 10 onward to spend!) This week flows smoothly. Your hopes rise Monday/Tuesday, your energy Friday/Saturday.

Taurus   April 20-May 20
A wave of activity brings communications, travel, details, paperwork, errands, casual contacts and siblings. These very themes are also subject to delays, mistakes, missed appointments, etc. Double-check all facts, figures. Don't be pressured - realize not much is at stake - relax in the midst of your busyness. Visit a former haunt for nostalgic pleasure. Sunday's sweet, mellow. Ambition, community status, meetings with prominent people are featured Monday/Tuesday. Good friends and great entertainment fill Wednesday/Thursday. Retreat, relax, Friday/Saturday. A smooth, easy week! Home sweetens. Your sex appeal rises, to early August. 

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Accept delays in money. Double-check figures, amounts; don't leave your credit card on the counter.  Pay overdue bills. Don't start new earning or spending projects before July 10. All's well financially - money's just not, perhaps, following the path you thought it would. Friends, siblings, contacts and communications are affectionate, gracious - but serious, significant - during this smooth, easy week. Your hopes and desires have "gone underground" until early August - that's okay, dream in secret - but avoid clandestine motives, collusion or extramarital shenanigans. Avoid dark alleys and physically assertive people, too. 

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Your cycle continues high - your energy, magnetism, clout and luck are tops! Expect money luck this week and next. Your social abilities, especially on business and career fronts, are strong and effective, right into early August. You could make a friend of a VIP or boss! But don't start anything important in any area before July 10 - instead, apply all that energy to reprise the past or protect ongoing situations from delays, mistakes and confusion. Remember, all 2007, to chase the profound and forgo the casual and "overly-detailed." Love, mid-week.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Continue to rest, avoid crowds and "on stage" situations. Retreat, recoup, contemplate, seek your spiritual center. Spiritual knowledge (or the teachings of former therapists, advisors, confidents) feelings, experiences from the past might return now, and are valuable because they give you a bit of perspective and a "cushion" to rest upon. Handle neglected obligations (e.g., call Mom). This is a smooth, easy week, though relationship challenges might arise Monday/Tuesday. "Deep knowledge" is available in sexual/financial zones Wednesday/Thursday. Until early August, VIPs, parents and bosses will display impatience, temperament.

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Social times continue. Respond to invitations, and issue one or two. Flirtation, optimism, friendship and the general happiness of life visit you now! You could be briefly - through early August - attracted to a clandestine relationship - or a clandestine attraction from May or June might assume a "legitimate" guise now, and come out from hiding. An argument might ensue (only might). Financial moves of the last two months also move into the legal sphere July/early August. Avoid legal hassles, same period. Start nothing important before July 10. Relationships excite, please Wednesday/Thursday!

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Your reputation might be on the line. Until early August, it could be influenced by various "circumstances." You could be attracted to a triangle situation in love, might yield to lust, could make a huge investment or lifestyle change, might be lured by collusion or confidential agreements. These aren't necessarily bad - could even be profitable, life enhancing - IF you're honest, moral, and if you start after July 9. (Until then, even the most attractive proposition will eventually die in the deserts of indecision.) Meanwhile, sweet hopes keep you happy!

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
VIPs, parents and higher-ups still like, favor you, to mid-July. But you might have problems with your peers through early August - co-workers could be feisty, but if you're diplomatic and eager, they might become partners. Similarly, the opposite sex can either make love or war with you - and the choice is at least half yours. (Anger can mask attraction.) Otherwise, this is a smooth, easy week and a mellow month, filled with understanding, cultural involvements, rites of passage, learning, travel, and gentle love. Don't start anything before July 10.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
The emphasis lies on secrets, mysteries, research, investigation, finances, sexual urges, intimacy, lifestyle changes, health, and commitment. Don't commit to anything important before July 10, though. All these areas are prone to turn in circles now, but your research could turn up some gems, insights, perhaps even material treasure. Your work grows more hectic through early August: pace yourself, be reliable. This week and next bring mellow thoughts, gentle urges of love. Buy nothing Sunday. Travel, talk fill Monday/Tuesday. Your domestic situation improves mid-week. Beauty, creativity, romantic notions arise Friday/Saturday. 

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
The accent continues on relationships, opportunities, challenges, competition and co-operation. Others have the clout now, so be diplomatic. Don't start anything before July 10 - but do grab opportunities that return from the past. This is a smooth, easy week. Your financial picture (investments) improves mildly without any adjustments. Your energy is high Sunday. Money matters both please and perturb Monday/Tuesday. Uplifting news mid-week, perhaps about a brother or friend! Settle into your home, self, security Friday/Saturday. Your sexual and romantic magnetism (and courage) rise now through early August!

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Work piles up! Better tackle it, but DON'T start (nor accept) new chores. (This doesn't apply f you routinely tackle "new jobs" - e.g., a car mechanic. But proceed carefully, for mistakes hover!) Friction visits your domestic scene through early August. On the plus side, relationships (including your spouse) stay sweet this week and next. After July 9, use all that domestic energy for landscaping, repairs, etc. - that will keep you out of trouble! This week is smooth, easy. Rest Sunday. Your energy surges upward Monday/Tuesday. Talk, travel come Friday/Saturday.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
The accent continues on romance, pleasure, raising and teaching kids, sports, games, vacations, beauty, creativity, self-expression and pleasure. Enjoy any or all of these with someone you already love - avoid new projects, new relationships before July 10. You're going to drive, talk and write more assertively through early August, so take some care. Your workplace and co-workers are pleasant, affectionate to mid-July. This is an easy, smooth week. Sunday's for friends and flirting. Retreat, rest and recuperate Monday/Tuesday. Your energy and charisma soar Wednesday/Thursday! Buy only routine items Friday/Saturday.
