ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

Again and again, I get emails from readers saying "you astrologers predicted that this would be such a great, lucky year for my sign, but so far it's been a turkey shoot - and I'm the turkey!" (You Librans especially have been playing this song.) Sorry, not guilty. Again and again, I've stressed that 2005 and 06 are complicated years, with good luck mixed with bad (or difficult) karma, with prosperity impulses fighting dour reality. I've taken a lot of flack for such stern predictions, while other astrologers keep forecasting nothing but sunny skies. Well, now the pudding starts to become the proof, or whatever. Re-read my "Karmic Forecast" - it was fair warning! General good times WILL return for everyone in December 2006. But until then, we need patience. 
Meanwhile, let's continue looking at the new luck cycle, to last from October 25, 2005 to November 24, 2006. Again, alas, this year of "luck" will contain its share of disappointments for anyone, or any sign, who charges ahead impulsively - because Saturn will be demanding long, hard work, and giving few generous rewards. Be conservative, be safe, no matter what I say for your sign's luck cycle!
	Let's start with LIBRA. Your luck, these 13 months ahead, pours forth in your sector of earnings, buying/selling, memory, knowledge already known, possessions, and casual sex. You could rise to a higher plateau of earnings, and stay on it for years to come! BUT: this money luck will be dampened - or even prevented - by social considerations, too much partying, light romance, the general disapproval of your group, a temporarily declining popularity, or the demise of a valuable network. Before that happens, make all the money you can, be wary with investments, and pay off debt. Take care with a casual sexual event or tie: it could lower your reputation at work. A child or parent could "bleed off" your money - fine, if they're in college, etc.
	VIRGO, you're truly lucky this year ahead, simply because restricting, dampening Saturn sits behind your Sun, where it's weak and has little effect on you. The 13 months ahead will expand your travels, your communications, paperwork, details, errands, casual contacts, and general busyness. These are NOT guaranteed to bring you good luck, though, and you need to watch out for the pitfalls of talking too freely to the government, of gossip, etc. You might spend much of 2006 getting ready for a big residential move; that's fine. Don't overspend on small items; don't write too many emails or waste time on conversations that go nowhere. Just plod steadily ahead at your own pace and don't let anyone distract you from a major goal - you know what it is!

Aries   March 21-April 19
Your energy, magnetism and effectiveness ride high Sunday to noon Monday. Follow your instincts, act; don't wait nor let another lead you. You can charge ahead in love, career, relations with VIPs, contracts, relationships, far travel - even in disagreements. The end of an agreement or relationship can sometimes be as productive and lucky as the forming of one! Handle money carefully Monday p.m. through Tuesday - fuzzy thinking hides the obstacles. Wednesday's a dud. Significant news, communications come Thursday/Friday - you might meet love, your future "country," or a whole new world!

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Your last week of deep drudgery - ending a year of the same! Delays will not end yet in the work area, but thankless, time-wasting chores will. Wake up to the possibilities in management, administration, head office, the civil service or an institution, a large company, especially Sunday through Monday noon, when the opportunity to "walk through the door" faces you! (Also be restful these two days - forget physical tasks.) Your energy rebounds Monday eve to Wednesday - you'll need it to overcome Tuesday's subtle obstacles. Chase money Thursday/Friday - luck accompanies you!

Gemini   May 21-June 20
This is your last week, this year, of deep romance, powerful creativity, speculative urges, pleasure and vacation projects. The temptation to chase these lasts to next June, but the "strength" fades. Chase social, entertainment, popularity goals Sunday to noon Monday - destiny is on your side in these, in a small, quiet way. (In the same way, a wish, a rather major one, could come true!) Lie low, avoid confrontations Monday eve through Wednesday. Your energy and your charm rise high Thursday/Friday: you could capture the prize - in love, etc!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
This is your last week of overemphasis on domestic concerns, parenting, real estate, etc. Soon, your focus will switch to pleasure, romance, beauty, and creativity. Already, you're thinking about or discussing a pleasure trip or something similar. What you think will be small, will grow to something quite large! A career-versus-home conflict could climax Sunday/Monday - but in a way that provides an opportunity for you to "move up" the ladder of success. You feel social Tuesday/Wednesday, but life is filled with obstacles. Retire, rest Thursday/Friday: contact spiritual forces, government agencies.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Errands, paperwork, details, conversations, contacts, networking - you're busy, and you'll end this week with a sense of accomplishment and bright horizons! (But before those horizons come, you'll take a month's rest - and in some cases, where these new horizons are really big, a 13-month rest. You'll come roaring out to conquer love, life, and the world, in December 2006. Until then, heal more than exert.) Be curious all week, as this will lead you to these nascent horizons. Legal, travel, love, publishing and education projects get a nice boost Sunday/Monday!

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Make money while you can - next week starts a year that will focus more on communications, travel and curiosity than on making a buck. Sunday to Monday noon is an excellent time to invest, or to set up money "channels" for the long term. But shy away from anything that needs more than automatic co-operation. You try to understand the world Monday eve to Wednesday, but fuzzy thinking and odd events stymie you. Chase career goals Thursday/Friday: the opposition looks large, but your luck is the (good) wild card!

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Your energy, magnetism and effectiveness continue to soar. To take advantage, co-operate or seek a partner Sunday through Monday morning. You might "decide" to marry or merge these two days: good! But don't form a bond Monday eve to Wednesday - it would be forever changeable, uncertain, passionate and painful. Good ideas, good people, and good projects come Thursday to Saturday. (The Saturday ones are more ambitious, prestige-oriented; the earlier ones are more loving, intellectual.) You've had a year of big ups and downs. A "level" year begins next week. 

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Tackle important chores Sunday into Monday noon - you'll be surprised at your progress! That said, you are still quite tired, and prey to the problems of fatigue. So eat well, dress sensibly, sleep lots, and avoid competition (especially Monday night through Wednesday, when others are strong and stubborn. Just nod!) The depths of life surface Thursday into early Saturday: sex, investments, lifestyle changes, health exigencies, major commitments - these hold deep rewards! Next week kicks off a month of high energy and charisma - and a year of luck and success!

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
I've warned you all year against "over socializing." This advice holds through June 2006. But chasing friends, fame, popularity, entertainment, "light romance" - all social things - won't hurt you this week, and could even bring a nice glow of happiness by Friday/Saturday. But you'll mine a deeper reward if you pursue true romance, creativity, deep pleasure, even take a gamble, a risk. These are available Sunday and Monday morning, and could lead to a significant bond by Thursday/Saturday. Careful with work, health Tuesday/Wednesday. Next week begins 13 months of quietude.

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
You are cautioned against being too ambitious all 2005, through June 2006. But this week gives you a bit of a "bye" - you can successfully pursue your ambitions, interact with big-wigs, enhance your reputation, etc. However, seeking security will benefit you even more, especially Sunday to Monday noon. (This is a fair time to buy real estate, although the full moon hints that - in monthly terms - prices are on the high side.) Careful with romance and other gambles Tuesday/Wednesday. Tackle chores Thursday/Friday: a big job comes "like a gift."  

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
This is your last week of love's mellow dalliance, of the broad contemplation of life and meaning. Next week begins a whole year of business pressures, career openings, and dealings with higher ups. So enjoy this week! Short trips, communications, casual friends and following your curiosity can lead to reward and joy Sunday/Monday. A Gemini might bend the truth. Take care with home, family, stomach Tuesday. Romance, love, creativity, pleasure, beauty and "a gamble" fill Thursday/Friday - and could lead to a sense of large possibilities, of a fruitful future.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
Mysteries have lured you all year. Next week begins 13 months of "enlightenment," when you'll start to see the connections, will know that this leads to that, and why things happened. Meanwhile, this last week of depths and mysteries could be a significant, even profitable one. Chase money, income Sunday through Monday noon. This is a great period to purchase old or used items, or timepieces. Speak discreetly and drive cautiously Tuesday/Wednesday. Home, real estate, family, kids, soul and stomach benefit you Thursday into early morn Saturday - a prize/bonanza possible!
