ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	All times/dates are PST.
	I've received a load of e-mails asking when the heck the 2007 Love Forecast will appear. It's late; it's late!  I feel like Alice's rabbit. But the Love Forecast is always timed to apply from one Valentine's Day to the next. February to February. So it will be out this week. Odd that Mercury goes retrograde the night before Valentine's Day (actually on Valentine's Day, from North America's East Coast through Europe and Asia). This hints (if only symbolically) that many of us will be hearing from old flames or handling old love issues in the year ahead.
	The present Mercury retro period, technically lasting from 8:38 p.m. (PST) February 13 to 8:45 p.m. March 7, occurs in Pisces until February 26, then in Aquarius. The first two weeks of this period (to the 26th) might bring us back to former, more spiritual stances and activities. Some of us might begin to meditate again, or our interest in/contacts with films, boating, seafood, government or institutions will be re-awakened. If an old friend or love flame does re-appear, he/she is likely to be a soft, sympathetic, intuitive, complicated person. From the 26th onward, these "returning things" are more likely to involve quirky friends, humanitarian or politically activist organizations, or technical interests (computers, etc.). Terrorist activity might briefly come to center screen again, in either part of this retro period.
	All of us should avoid starting anything significant February 13 through March 7. But a series of good aspects from March 5 onward says we could start projects from this day forth, especially if they concern justice, marriage or love.
	I don't think I've said yet that we can make some of our wisest or intuitively best decisions in two decades this March and April, especially concerning spiritual, humanitarian, administrative, health, drug, film, and perceptive zones - the same areas the retrograde period emphasizes. 
	On the flip side, many of us will be tempted to make some of our worst decisions in two decades this coming October, especially in areas of judgment, love and power, servitude and conservatism, health and economic cycles. We should avoid, this October, seeking practical success, trying to dominate, or starting business or career ventures. We should generally avoid being too conservative.
	On the other hand, during the "good decision" period of March/April 2007, we'll fare best if we're a little quirky, if we give our eccentricities and our friendliness a lot of play.


Start Nothing: 0:45  to 3:42 a.m. Tues., 7:24 p.m. Wed. to 8:34 a.m. Thurs., and 8:14 to 10:30 a.m. Sat.

Aries   March 21-April 19
Life is still upbeat, you're popular, and social delights abound! Accept every invitation! Love of a gentle, wise kind might come to you Sunday (unluckily) Monday pre-dawn (future marriage not indicated) and Monday morning (11 am EST) to midnight (stable, long-lasting, sexy and romantic). Time a "date" accordingly. If you're in love and discussing a deeper involvement, time the discussion, too. The same times apply for travel, starting a school paper, legal matters, etc. Be ambitious Tuesday/Wednesday, but start no new projects. Expect delays now to March 7. 

Taurus   April 20-May 20
A good former friend might appear before March 8. Until then, start nothing, particularly in networking, social, or entertainment zones. Mistakes, indecisions and delays will occur through early March, so just grin and bear it, stay alert, and enjoy love. You'll be popular and happy. You'll feel romantic, and you could well get a response! Love, sexual desire, far places draw you Sunday to Wednesday. Be hopeful, look to the future, but make neither firm plans nor promises. Your career is important Thursday/Friday - being dutiful will earn higher-ups' approval.

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Life's bigger vistas - foreign places, far travel, other cultures, writing, love and learning - continue to enlighten and bless you. Tuesday night begins 22 days of delays, mistakes, and "visits from the past." So don't start anything new and important, in any area. Instead, stick with past and ongoing projects. (One exception: don't try to edit or rewrite old material.) A former career role or duty might be laid on your shoulders - accept it. Higher-ups want to see you succeed. Sexual and investment desires remain powerful, especially mid-week - proceed cautiously.

Cancer   June 21-July 22
You're feeling sexy, and someone is hot - sexy or argumentative. This could lead to fireworks, especially Tuesday/Wednesday - but whether they're ones you'll like, is anybody's guess! The same applies to business dealings: you want to venture, invest, change things, commit a partner, but the other person is either eagerly willing or defiantly not! Be diplomatic. And start nothing new now through March 7. (Watch for glitches, delays and mistakes in projects already begun.) Legal, travel and learning, though perhaps delayed, bring you affection and gentle joys. Mysteries, desires Thursday/Friday.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Relationships, opportunities, relocation prospects, dealings with the public (1-on-1 or 1-on-millions) remain highlighted, especially Thursday to Saturday. But the very things you might have been anticipating or planning - intimacy, funding, contracts, and deeper support - could start eluding you. In general, everything encounters delays, mistakes and revisions Tuesday night through March 7 - but hidden matters, funding, finances, intimacy - these especially crawl backwards. That "backward motion" seems to be accompanied with luck or affection. Be patient! And start nothing new. Romance, beauty, pleasure Sunday/Monday. Work, mid-week. Research wins. Life's exciting! 

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Work and health concerns continue to pile up. Push through these slowly and deliberately - you'll get things done, especially Thursday to Saturday morning. But fuzzy thinking reigns, now through March 7. Be alert for mistakes, expect delays and missed appointments, etc. Neither make nor accept promises for the duration - unexpected events or changes of mind will erode vows. A former spouse or associate might return, cause a swell of affection in you. If you're attached now, expect your partner to grow indecisive. Rest, be home Sunday/Monday. Romance surges Tuesday/Wednesday. 

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
This is your last week of romance, tender feelings, creative urges and speculative good luck. Enjoy it, especially Thursday to Saturday morning, when love and pleasure abound! (They abound within limits, for your mood is more friendly than intensely romantic this year.) Earlier, Sunday/Monday, friends and siblings, paperwork, travel and communications occupy you. Your home, and a question about a relationship's future, demand attention Tuesday/Wednesday. Now through March 7, start nothing important - work, machinery and health concerns are impacted by indecision, delays ad mistakes. Stay alert. Buy nothing mechanical/electronic!

Scorpio   Oct.23-Nov. 21
Wrap things up on domestic, real estate, gardening, retirement and "territorial" concerns this week - especially Thursday to dawn Saturday. DON'T start a new project in these areas now through March 7, nor in anything important, including love, creative projects and speculative ventures. These (love, creativity, etc.) are lucky, sweet and rewarding, and will continue so through late March, but you shouldn't try to attain any new plateaus or start anything new. An old flame might appear soon, causing tender feelings. This will be a good thing. Call, write, travel Tuesday/Wednesday.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec.21
Start nothing new through March 7 - delays, mistakes and indecision will prevail. Stick with old or ongoing projects. "Returning things" in family, home, real estate, shelter, gardening/agriculture, stomach and soul areas, can be rewarding and good. DON'T go house hunting; but if a realtor phones to say that house you always wanted is suddenly available again, grab it. A lost pet or estranged child might return. Your energy and charisma surge Sunday/Monday. Chase money (but nothing new! And buy nothing big!) Tuesday/Wednesday. Thursday/Friday is busy but relaxed. Rest in happiness Saturday! 

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
Wrap up money projects. Avoid new spending through March 7. (You'd buy a lemon or unneeded item.) Avoid all new starts, for projects born before March 8 will be plagued by delays and mistakes. Stick with the ongoing, and remain alert - communications and travel schedules might go astray. Somehow these glitches bring luck - e.g., when you're stranded in Des Moines (or at your desk) a childhood acquaintance might wander by, or you're awarded a free hotel room or some enforced (non-guilty) relaxation! Your sexual magnetism remains strong, especially Tuesday/Wednesday.

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Your charisma, energy and luck remain high - especially Thursday to Saturday morning, when your requests will be favorably answered, you'll draw attention, and you'll make a good impression. Despite your high energy, an atmosphere of delays and mistakes enters, through March 7. Don't start any important ventures or projects before March 5. (You can successfully start a bit early, for various reasons.) Your main area of slow-down will be in money, earnings and spending. Buy nothing important; you'd land a lemon or unneeded item. Happiness Sunday/Monday. Rest, contemplate Tuesday/Wednesday.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
This is your last week of recuperation, weariness and "background activities" (meditation, red tape, hospital visits, planning, closed door discussions, etc.). Next week, you'll burst out with heightened energy, charisma and luck! But now through March 7, you should avoid starting anything new - so save those planned projects or ventures until March 8 onward - your energy will still be high, and simple, direct action (March 8 onward) will get you to your goals! Meanwhile, despite delays, happiness visits, and people show you affection. A wish might come true mid-week.
