ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	All times/dates are Pacific Daylight Time. 
	All of us, through September, should chase the Jupiter-in-Virgo luck that I described last week. But September 24 begins a brand new luck cycle. The strongest, purest time of this new cycle runs from late September through October 21. For almost a year after this, to October 2005, this luck cycle continues, but it becomes more and more complicated. Jupiter's good luck begins to intertwine with old (and often negative) karma. So it's important, if we want to succeed, to strike early in this new luck cycle, to "seed" a venture or take a first step from September 25 to October 21. But remember this: new businesses started September 25, 2004 through July 16, 2005, are likely to fail. Aim elsewhere! (Scholarship, travel, love, etc.) Over the next few columns, I'll explain the new luck cycle for every sign.
	ARIES, your "October onward" luck cycle involves relationships. You'll gain (perhaps immensely) if you marry, relocate, pounce upon opportunities, sign contracts, shake hands, or deal with the public (one-on-one or one-on-many). Go outside yourself - ALL your luck will come through others this year ahead. Yet you'll have to carefully balance your interests with that of others. Seek an association, yet within it, maintain a gentle independence. Don't please others to your own detriment. Don't sign a contract that worries you; don't marry someone just to avoid a scene. But also avoid blithely "expanding" disagreements, seeking competition, accenting differences. Some will marry, some will divorce this year ahead. Think like master salespeople do: discern and fulfill the desires of others. In late October and November, you might drawn into the "forbidden" side of relationships: extramarital temptations, collusion or deceptive financial manoeuvres. All 2005, luck and dead-ends mingle - accept what drops from heaven, but don't chase an alluring person or goal that keeps eluding you. 
	TAURUS, the year that begins this September 25 brings luck and expansion to your work and health fronts, and to machinery, tools, cars, engines, computers, office systems, designs, plumbing, construction, agriculture, harvesting, landscaping, woodwork, fitness programs, nutrition/diets, vitamins, herbs, public health, health courses, pets, co-worker relations, dealings with employees (or finding employment yourself) - in general, with anything work-related. Your job could expand, or you could "moonlight" (hold two jobs). But be aware of the "trap" of overworking - know when to delegate responsibilities, when to take a break and trust others to perform a chore. This year ahead, luck and wisdom might walk completely separate paths. Wisdom's safest.

Aries   March 21-April 19
Tackle work. You might receive a pay raise, extra job, or find just the right tools, computer, etc. This entire week challenges you in work, legal, educational and travel areas - you might have to choose between work and those other things. You're curious Sunday through Tuesday morning. Read, ask, visit - but don't commit yourself legally or otherwise this week. Security, family, soul matters and rest bless you mid-week - veg out. Friday/Saturday bring love, romance, pleasure - and the end of a whole week of changes. You'll see things differently!

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Good fortune accompanies romance, creativity, speculation, raising kids. But you might have to distinguish between romance and physical sexuality (or between passion and commitment) this week. For example, you might love someone, but do you want to share a mortgage, or change your life for him/her? It's probably best to tackle/settle such questions next week than now. Otherwise, life might cause a "rip" in the fabric of love. Be careful with money Sunday to Tuesday morning. Your hopes come true, somehow, Tuesday to Thursday! Settle down; think deeply, Friday/Saturday.

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Buy property. Retire. Tackle family problems. Go, and do, and commit - or end matters completely - through the 24th. Your spouse, competitor or another might oppose you. Be diplomatic, persuade. Your relationship(s) might change, deeply. You'll find a bright, pleasurable, beautiful life on the other side of commitment and change. Your energy's high Sunday to Tuesday morning - act, change your life's foundations, buy a condo, a farm, a restaurant, build a house, find a therapist, nurture your kids, etc. Settle the money side of these mid-week. Chat, visit and travel Friday/Saturday. 

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Communications could cause difficulties at work, or with co-workers - say nothing rude. Lie low, rest Sunday to Tuesday morning. Your energy and charisma soar upward Tuesday eve to Thursday - ask favors, start big projects, especially in media, travel, paperwork and communications. But avoid rudeness, impatience again Thursday to Saturday. A new, "awake" atmosphere has been drifting into your intellectual, cultural, philosophical and love nature - it's like a dash of cold water. It helps you understand life, and it "removes" you from the financial mistakes of the 1996-2003 period.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22
Chase money all week. The road won't be smooth. You could run into legal, procedural or "international" barriers. Friends, loved ones, might disagree with your money plans. Charge ahead - don't be intimidated nor "deflected." Seek reward for efforts - earnings, lucrative clients or contracts, buying/selling will tend to be more fortunate than investment or an attempt to "grow" net worth. You're optimistic, popular Sunday to Tuesday morning (except for one person who turns away in resentment). Be quiet, restful, deal with government agencies mid-week. Your energy and charisma soar Friday/Saturday!

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Put your life on a major new foundation - through real estate, a home change, agriculture/nature or a  business involving food or shelter, through family re-organizing or therapy, retirement planning/action, through ending an untenable situation, dipping deep into your soul, etc. Your luck is tremendous! Perhaps you're broke, your family's exploding, whatever. But in this chaos is an opportunity. What's painful now will later prove to have been a lucky event. Be ambitious Sunday to Tuesday morning. Your optimism, popularity soar mid-week - a wish could come true! Chase money Friday/Saturday.

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Seek spiritual experiences (rather than "religion") this month. Visit psychics, therapists, advisors, your bank manager, accountant, lawyer, doctor, etc. Ask, listen - don't expound. View the future and make plans. Proceed at a restful, contemplative pace. Also contact government agencies, institutions, large corporations, or the "admin" department of your present job. There's something hugely beneficial to/for you in all these admin, spiritual or advisory areas! Chase career Tuesday-Thursday. From late September onward, you're going to burst forth with a new charisma, energy, optimism and luck - big things await you! 

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
Seek and join a group that reflects your ideas, yearnings, sense of humor and practical goals. A money-earning situation could spark an exchange of ideas and a lasting friendship - or, a new friendship could create a money-earning situation! Be open, friendly, and believe in your optimism, because it's stronger and more accurate than your pessimism this September. Welcome the good will of others - it's sincere! A co-worker could press you toward something that's for your own good. Don't invest Sunday/Monday. A wise, mellow mood enters mid-week. Be ambitious Friday/Saturday.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
Higher-ups are critical, testy, but they also have a "big hope" - and you're central to that hope. Make yourself indispensable, then cut a deal. Failing this, be diplomatic - argument or opposition on your part would be like "asking for cruelty. You're in one of the luckiest months in a decade for career progress - optimism and goodwill make it so! Relationships fill Sunday to Tuesday morning - be diplomatic, flexible. (Someone you meet has a "yea or nay" over your advancement.) Mysteries fill mid-week - commit, invest, investigate. Wisdom, love come Friday/Saturday. 

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
Tackle chores Sunday to Tuesday morning - follow safety precautions. Avoid an argument over "principles" with a co-worker or employee. Relationships fill Tuesday-Thursday - you might meet someone exciting, alluring! Or, a "teacher" could show you the wise way to go. Public dealings benefit you, though they're difficult to get off the ground. Avoid any "pull" toward competition, litigation, etc. The deeper, mysterious side of life comes Friday/Saturday -- dig deep, investigate. All succeeds, all week, IF you can put ideas, wisdom, the greater good, above secret fears or "secret agreements."

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Take a considered, careful and deliberate chance. Don't be impulsive, but do commit yourself to an investment, lifestyle change, intimate relationship, or other major, consequential thing. If you're undecided, choose whatever makes you feel most calm, most deeply rooted. This isn't a good week to mix money and friends, nor to let your social instincts overrule your "aggrandisement" (or "selfish," or "hunger for power") urges. Romance, beauty and pleasure lure you Sunday-Tuesday, but difficulties lurk here. Tackle chores mid-week - you'll succeed. Relationships either help you or hinder you Friday/Saturday.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
Go to the other, be diplomatic, eager to join, seek opportunities. You can form a great money partnership now - or you might fight over money. It's a 50-50 chance - unless you decide to be creative, willing, unselfish. Then it's a 99-1 chance that you'll succeed! Co-workers are pleasant, now to early October. Late this week, you'll start communicating with someone who can be a viable partner, mate, or co-operator. Pay attention to home, family, security issues Sunday-Tuesday morning. Romance, beauty and pleasure call mid-week - gambles pay off! Chores, Friday/Saturday.
