ASTRAL REFLECTIONS

	ALL SIGNS:  Saturn leaves the sign Gemini this Tuesday, June 3. It won't return for three decades. Now through July, 2005 Saturn will crawl through Cancer, the "birth sign" of the U.S.A., Canada, Iraq, and many other nations. Generally, Saturn brings restrictions. You have probably noted that since 2001 I've associated Saturn with the 9/11 attacks and the continuing War on Terrorism. It just struck me that one of the main effects of the  recent terror war has been restriction - of borders, of trade, of personal freedoms. Among the hardest-hit by these constraints have been Gemini and Sagittarian interests (since Saturn's been in Gemini for two years - and in Sagittarius' sign of opportunity). So air travel, autos, telephony, media and advertising have sunk. 
	Now Saturn enters Cancer through July 2005. This will switch the restraining influence, the difficulty in operating, the delays in accomplishment, the lack of reward, to Cancer and Capricorn interests. That includes such sectors as home, mothers (and single fathers), agriculture, gardening, residential real estate, home construction, ICI (investment, commercial, industrial real estate), consumerism, cooking, kitchen utensils, inns, hotels, restaurants, etc. I wouldn't invest in these stocks or sectors. I'd also worry about a retrenchment of the consumer generally, which could throw the economy into a deeper funk. There will also be an increased commitment to the War on Terror - and/or renewed terror attacks. (These have already started, as Saturn's Cancer effects precede it a wee bit.) The whole terror matrix will continue to flatten the earnings of the auto, airline, telephony and media sectors. The terror war will bring an increasing financial and "mood" burden now through 2005.
I addressed some of Saturn's 2003-2005 effects in the Sun-sign messages for VIRGO through PISCES last week, and will again for many signs this week. But briefly, ARIES will find travel, talk and friendships are easier, but home becomes a place of duty and responsibility. TAURUS will be glad to know those severe money restrictions are lifting. (Though talk, travel and paperwork will begin to resemble a walk through molasses.) GEMINI will finally shuck off a heavy robe of personal duty, pessimism and sobriety (and an obsession with sex or investments) and will grow more cheerful - but this sign now faces two years of tightening income. So be wary and stingy, Gemini! You CANCERS now grow sober, careful, ponderous - but Saturn might also bring you your life mate. (Or prompt you to establish one of your life's major "plateaus.") LEO, you'll finally replace your faith in gloom with a faith in happiness and luck - soon, soon!

Aries   March 21-April 19
Communications, travel, paperwork and details are emphasized - and they continue to bring happy social contacts. This is not a good time to invest - results would be "flabby." But earning and spending money are lucky. Romance, art, creativity, pleasure, speculation and children's interests remain your luckiest pursuit, through August. But doubts about all these occur early week (Monday) - and glitches frustrate Thursday. Keep the faith - love, etc., will survive! Stick with home, family, nature, Sunday p.m. through Tuesday, at least in heart. Tackle jobs, tools, health carefully Friday/Saturday - be safe.

Taurus   April 20-May 20
Use your personal charm to chase money. Your career world remains a minefield through June 16, with temperamental bosses, strict VIPs, even a possible enemy prowling the corridors of power. Be diplomatic, careful. Buy "lasting things" Sunday morning: a watch, simple tool, bricks, etc. Late Sunday to Tuesday brings travel, paperwork, calls - and choices. Pick security (real estate, family, healed heart) over ambition. Choose "immediate money," wages, rather than "future prospects." Two years of money restrictions lift now! Home/family hit minor glitches Wednesday/Thursday. Romance encounters some major realities Friday/Saturday: think!

Gemini   May 21-June 20
Your energy, charisma and effectiveness continue to soar! Your income will "tighten" (or expenses grow) now to July, 2003. Be realistic, careful. On the plus side, your career, prestige and status can change in good ways - IF you're pursuing an intellectual, legal, travel, media or similar goal. (In other words, if you give your Gemini traits free rein.) Money plods along Sunday to Tuesday, but love, travel, intellect offer uncertainty Monday, intuitive sureness Tuesday. Paperwork, travel, communications hit glitches Thursday. Home/family need a major re-thinking Friday/Saturday - take charge!

Cancer   June 21-July 22
Your energy is low - rest, sleep, contemplate, avoid competitive situations. You'll get a bit of relief Sunday p.m. to Tuesday, when tasks are a little lighter, your charisma increases mildly. (Your intuition's great these days, about hidden matters, government agencies, management concerns.) Be careful with money, spending and selling, Wednesday/Thursday. Paperwork, communications, details and travel fill Friday/Saturday - these, and your methods of dealing with them, are about to undergo major changes. (E.g., new car?) Tuesday begins a two-year phase of increased seriousness, sobriety. You'll chase and attract a partner.

Leo   July 23-Aug. 22	
Dream on a star now, and it might come true! Your optimism, social side, and ability to love life, rise powerfully. (Though Sunday p.m. to Tuesday brings a brief cloud of weariness -- deal with the government, hospitals, charities, and your spiritual side.) June 3 starts a two-year period that weakens whatever has impeded your luck. Chores, your gloomy outlook, all other luck "preventers," will slowly be replaced by a lighter feeling - and thus luck follows! Your energy and charisma rise Wednesday onward. Money methods need a serious "overhaul" Friday/Saturday.

Virgo   Aug. 23-Sept. 22
Your career assumes importance this month - and the news is good. For the next two years, ambition, VIP relations, parental roles, the whole status thing, will ride more lightly on your shoulders. New and old contacts will further your career prospects. Old career wishes will come true, new career goals will be formed. For the same two years, your social life will dim a little, yet you'll meet love at a social function. (If you're married, pleasure and your children's fortunes will improve.) Tackle paperwork, errands Sunday eve, Monday.

Libra   Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Media, international, legal, educational, religious, philosophical, love and similar matters get a boost through mid-late June. For ten days ahead, changes, sexual commitments, mortgage-sharing, investments are favored, lucky. All these lured but were unreliable in May. Focus on your career, ambitions, parental role and relations with VIPs Sunday eve to Tuesday. Saturn enters this sector Tuesday, pointing to two years of hard work ahead. But another indicator hints this "extra weight" will be accompanied by creativity, intuition and spiritual ease. Think "mass production." Social delights  Wednesday/Thursday! Rest, retreat Friday/Saturday.

Scorpio   Oct. 23-Nov. 21
The general accent's on sex, lust, subconscious urges, investigation, finances, life changes, commitments and alterations. These are favored, especially where a relationship enters the picture. (Two years of frustration in these zones ends June 3.) Others treat you with affection, even in business! Seek new horizons, new links, new hearts, for ten days. The "relationship suspicion" (or self-deception) of May is gone. June 3 begins two years of restrictions, slowness and prudence in legal, international, intellectual and similar zones. Life's mellow before Wednesday. Career, pressures mid-week. Social "challenges" Friday/Saturday.

Sagittarius   Nov. 22-Dec. 21
The dour influence that has demanded much, given little in relationships for the past two years now lifts, leaving you free to chase whom you will, and making others more cheerful toward you, more willing to agree, to accept what you propose. (While traveling, now to mid-June, you could meet romance, if you haven't already.) That restrictive influence shifts, now through July 2005, into debt, investments, sex, pregnancy, and big life changes. If single, sex will demand loyalty. Investments will demand patience. DON'T increase the size of your mortgage!

Capricorn   Dec. 22-Jan. 19
The general emphasis is on work, dependents, health, diet and routine. These flow easily enough, which gives you time for some nice pleasure, a bit of creativity or romance - take these "pleasure spots" now, as the work will really increase next week (June 9 - 20). On June 3, you begin two years of increased resistance in business, love, legal and public relationships - others will be slow to say "yes." Yet this same period can introduce you to your life mate. Decline challenges - don't make enemies. Money keeps coming - bank it!

Aquarius   Jan. 20-Feb. 18
The emphasis remains on romance, creativity, pleasure, speculation, raising or teaching children. These are favored for the weeks ahead. On June 3, Saturn, which has dampened and restricted this area for two years, leaves - so a lightness and freedom will allow happiness, pleasure and creativity to blossom more fully in years to come. However, the same planet will restrict your work success now through July 2005 - be patient, willing to trudge onward. Relationships are a challenge Wednesday/Thursday - perhaps a sweet challenge! DO NOT invest nor chase secrets or sex Friday/Saturday.

Pisces   Feb. 19-March 20
Home, family, security, real estate, general foundations continue to dominate your attention. The restrictions, slowness and burdens that have weighed down these areas for the past two years now dissolve, but this same restrictive influence now enters your romantic, creative, pleasure-seeking and child-teaching zones for two years. This can actually help you calmly pursue a goal, write that story or pursue that lover. Relax, reach the quiet side of yourself this week. Romance, pleasure fill Sunday eve to Tuesday. Visit a psychic. Duties arrive Wednesday/Thursday. Handle relationships carefully Friday/Saturday.
